βͺοΈ Surveillance and reconnaissance of facilities at #Mozdok in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and Privolzhsky in the Astrakhan region, as well as at Astrakhan International Airport, began for the first time in December.
βͺοΈ The infrastructure of nuclear power plants in #Kurchatov and the village of #Makarovka in the #Kursk region is surveyed with enviable frequency.

Satellites are used to monitor the movements of strategic bombers, the movement of rail and road convoys, the deployment of front-line personnel, and the situation at Russian nuclear facilities.
This allows analysts of the North Atlantic bloc to choose the most suitable direction or target for an offensive, including at a great distance from the frontline.
Moreover, priority is now being given to disabling airfields at a great distance from the front line. Such actions are designed to deprive the RF Armed Forces of an important advantage, as well as to demonstrate the capabilities of the AFU and sow panic among the Russian population.
In the near future, we should expect strikes on power facilities not only in the regions bordering #Ukraine, but also at a considerable distance from the combat zone.
β¦οΈWhat to do about it?
Aid and assistance from the US and allies will not stop. They will increase, and attempted strikes will be repeated. Acknowledging this fact will already make it easier to level the efforts of the AFU and their Western sponsors.
A simple observance of basic security and stealth requirements and the erection of improvised defensive structures are already capable of reducing the damage from possible attacks. It will be possible to recall the long-forgotten practice of taking into account the time of overflight by NATO earth-sensing satellites over the area where the object is located.
And in the short term there will be a question of mass introduction into the troops of a really working automated air control and warning system, which will allow air defence units to receive data on the situation at all sites.

There are heavy battles, problems with counterbattery fighting are mentioned again.
βͺοΈ In the #Kherson direction, the AFU intensified landing operations on our side of the #Dnieper. Since the middle of the week, the enemy has been holding a bridgehead in the direction of Cossack Camps - #Podstepnoye. Yesterday they tried to replenish the number of personnel at the #Antonovsky bridge, an artillery strike was made. In the battle for the islands 2 enemy boats were destroyed, 4 more were used to deliver the enemy's landing force to one of the islands.
βͺοΈ South of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), the AFU intensified offensive operations on the #Kleshcheyevka (photo) - #Andreyevka - #Kurdyumovka line, throwing infantry and equipment into the battle. Our aviation and heavy flamethrower systems are working, the enemy attacks failed to take our strongholds, losing several units of armoured vehicles. The enemy is pulling up reserves.
βͺοΈ In the direction of #Kremennaya, in the #Serebryanskoye forestry and on the #Torskoye ledge, enemy attacks were repelled, the enemy suffered losses in manpower and equipment.

Geranium UAVs exploded in the towns of #Izmail and #Reni, just before today's meeting between Putin and ErdoΔan. Explosions were also heard overnight in the #Dnepropetrovsk and #Zaporozhye regions.
βͺοΈ On the #Zaporozhye front at the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line, several units of the enemy's armoured vehicles were destroyed. The AFU's attacks in "waves" on our positions continue unceasingly. There are artillery duels to the east in the area of Zelenoye Polye. A Ukrainian MiG-29 was shot down over #Bekarovka, 38 km from the line of contact (enemy rear).
βͺοΈ The #Kherson section of the front has been characterised in recent days by increased activity by both sides on islands in the floodplain of the #Dnieper River.
βͺοΈ In the #SouthDonetsk Direction, there is mutual artillery shelling near #Staromayorskoye.
