⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Starobelsk Direction until 18:00 on 19 Jan 2023⚡️

♦️#Kupyansk - #Svatovo Section:

▪️ Up to 100 men of the 134th Battalion from 103rd and 114th Territorial Defence Brigades in small groups of ten men each, reinforced by two tanks of the AFU's 92nd Mechanized Brigade launched an offensive on #Novoselovskoye from southwest of the locality at 07:00 on 19 January.

The AFU reached the railway station and is currently waiting for reinforcements to continue the offensive against #Kuzemovka from the northwest. The village itself has been in a "grey zone" for the past weeks, whith both Russian and Ukrainian reconnaissance teams active.

➖ A company of the AFU's 92nd Mechanized Brigade on six armoured vehicles and a group of Ukrainian Forces of Special Operations are being moved to #Novoselovskoye to reinforce the advancing grouping.

▪️ Artillerymen of the RF Armed Forces are firing at the rear positions of the AFU. Reconnaissance and sabotage groups operating almost along the entire front from #Kamenka to #Kolomyychikha provide target acquisition.

♦️#Liman Section:

▪️ The AFU is preparing for an offensive in certain areas. A Tank Battalion of the AFU"s 66th Mechanized Brigade from #Ochertino in the DPR (up to 160 men and 20 tanks) is expected to arrive in #Izyumskoye by 20 January.

▪️ As part of the preparation, combined assault detachments of the Ukrainian airborne assault forces' 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, the 80th and 95th Separate Air Assault Brigades, with up to 80 men on 5-6 armored fighting vehicles, plan to conduct reconnaissance battles near #Dibrova and at the #Torskoye - #Terny line.

▪️ In addition, the 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the AFU's 77th Airmobile Brigade will be moved to the #Starobelsk direction after being re-staffed at the #Perlyavka training ground in the #Zhytomyr region. The 1st and 4th Separate Airmobile Battalions of the compound are located in #Paraskovievka and #Zaliznyanskoye near #Bakhmut.

▪️ UAV calculations of the AFU are conducting reconnaissance of positions and activities of Russian forces in the direction of #Kremennaya. A Bayraktar UAV is operating from #Chuguev airfield over #Izyum in the interests of Ukrainian formations.

♦️In the #Kherson direction, Russian artillery fired on AFU positions in the regional centre, as well as #Belozerka, #Antonovka, #Berislav, #Respublikanets, #Novokairy, #Kachkarovka and #Dudchany. (Fig. 1)

♦️In the #Ugledar sector Russian troops are launching a ground offensive on the city. They are already on the southern outskirts.
🔹 They try to advance along the eastern and western borders of the city.
🔹 Russian artillery is shelling #Novopol, Volnoye Pole, #Vremevka, Zolotaya Niva and #Prechistovka. (Fig. 2)

♦️On the #Donetsk front, the RF Armed Forces have seized the initiative in #Maryinka and are conducting storming operations in the western part of the city.
🔹 The AFU strongholds in #Krasnogorovka and #Avdeyevka are being attacked by artillery. Also under fire are #Nevelskoye, #Pervomayskoye, #Vodyanoye, #Berdychi and #Ochertino.
🔹 The Ukrainian army responded with strikes on #Donetsk, #Makeyevka, #Panteleymonovka and #Gorlovka. (Fig. 3)

♦️South of #Bakhmut, the AFU shelled #Ozaryanovka, #Kurdyumovka and #Kleshchiyevka.
🔹 The Wagner PMCs, supported by artillery, attacked #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). The aim is still the same - to cut off the Ukrainian garrison from supplies along a section of the H-32 #Konstantinovka - #Bakhmut highway.
🔹 On the eastern outskirts of the city itself, the "bandits" are trying to break through the AFU defences.
🔹 West of #Soledar, the Wagner PMC is again conducting an assault near #Blagodatnoye.
🔹 To the north, the "musicians" are attacking #Razdolovka.
🔹 Russian troops once again attempt to advance on #Spornoye and #Verkhnekamenskoye. (Fig. 4)

♦️In the #Lugansk direction, the AFU are shelling Rubezhnoye and Kremennaya.
🔹 RF Armed Forces on the ground attacked near #Chervonopopovka.
🔹 Russian artillery fired at #Nevskoye, #Makeyevka, #Stelmakhovka, #Tabayevka, #Kotlyarovka, #Ivanovka, #Sinkovka and #Dvurechnaya. (Fig. 5)

🔹In the #Kherson direction, there are no significant changes, both sides are carrying out mutual artillery strikes, and the AFU is using many drones. The AFU fired mortars at #Dnepryany in Novokakhovsky district.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye front, northwest of #Verbovoye small assault groups of the AFU tried to get closer to our positions, the enemy was stopped by counter small arms fire. The RFAF reported success in #Rabotino. There is an advance to the north of the settlement.

🔹On the #Vremyevka ledge, heavy bloody fighting on #Staromayorskoye continues. The RFAF are suffering losses during the weeklong offensive, but are also developing success at this locality. From the field, fighters report multidirectional actions of our infantry and artillery, and note serious damage from enemy artillery fire with cluster munitions. At the same time, the RFAF have gained a foothold on the southern outskirts of #Urozhaynoye, and the enemy's counterattacks have no success.

🔹In the #SouthDonetsk direction, the RFAF are scaling up the use of "turtle tanks". There is fighting on the Refractory Plant in the centre of #Krasnogorovka.

🔹In the #Pokrovskoye direction west of #Avdeyevka, the RFAF are developing success south of #Pervomayskoye with flanking strikes, cutting the front bulge. An offensive is under way in #Netaylovo. The zone of control in the villages on the #Ochertino ledge is expanding.

🔹On the eastern outskirts of #ChasovYar, the controlled territory is expanding in heavy battles. The RFAF are increasing pressure from the northern and southern flanks.

🔹From the #Kharkov region in the #Kupyansk sector, they reported a breakthrough of the enemy’s defence in the settlement of #Berestovoye yesterday. Fighting has been going on since 28 April 2024. Earlier the Russian Army occupied #Kislovka and #Kotlyarovka.

💥#Belgorod was shelled with MLRS in the morning. Eight people were injured: seven adults and one child. Yesterday, the village of #Murom, Shebekinsky urban district, came under AFU artillery fire. The villages of #Rovenyok and #Malinovka, #Belgorod district, were attacked by the AFU using kamikaze drones.

💥In the #Kursk region near #Troitskoye, Korenevsky district, an AFU drone dropped an explosive device on a tractor working in a field. The driver, who was carrying out agricultural work, was wounded. Another Ukrainian drone attacked an oil factory in #Suzha.

💥In the #Bryansk region at night, two aircraft-type UAVs were destroyed by forces over the Klintsovsky district. In the afternoon, #Lemeshovka in Sevsky district was shelled.

💥In the #DPR, As a result of AFU strikes on peaceful civilians, a woman born in 1938 was killed in Krasnaya Polyana, four civilians were wounded in #Gorlovka and #Vladimirovka.
