⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Soledar Direction until 14:00 on 27 Dec 2022⚡️
🩸 Fighting continues in and around #Bakhmut. The "Wagnerians" together with the Russian People's Militia of the LPR are conducting an offensive in several areas.
However, the Ukrainian command is moving reserves to keep control of the area, so it is too early to talk about the liberating #Bakhmut soon, see also 👉 Assessment.
♦️#Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk) Sector:
▪️ Wagner PMC assault squads have squeezed out the 63rd AFU Mechanized Brigad's units from five platoon strongholds near #Opytnoye on the #Ivangrad side.
▪️ Fierce fighting for the #Kleshchiyevka village is taking place on its eastern outskirts. Units of the 28th Mechanized Brigade are setting up minefields in the central part of the village.
▪️ Artillery crews of the 28th and 53rd Mechanized Brigades and the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the AFU are firing barrage at the RF Armed Forces advance areas. Mavic-3, Matrix-300 and Autel Evo II UAVs provide target acquisition.
▪️ On the southeastern outskirts of #Bakhmut, Russian forces are gradually breaking through the defences of the Ukrainian garrison. Reinforcements and three tanks have been transferred to the area of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade for support and replenishment.
▪️ Meanwhile, the number of casualties is increasing day by day. Ukrainian formations are spreading information that out of 800 mobilised who arrived earlier, less than 100 people have survived.
▪️ From the #Kharkov region, the transfer of forces from the Territorial defence have begun - despite the formal attitude to the troops, the units are equipped with heavy equipment and air defence systems.
♦️#Soldar Area:
▪️ The Wagnerians continue to advance in several directions, systematically improving their tactical position. Currently, fighting is taking place in the vicinity of #Razdolovka, #Veseloye and on the eastern outskirts of #Soledar from the direction of #Bakhmutskoye.
▪️ Units of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade and 46th Airmobile Brigade of the AFU are defending in almost destroyed settlements that have no serious fortifications. Holding the villages is complicated due to Russian artillery and aviation fire and problems with the supply of ammunition.
▪️ At the same time, assault groups of the AFU's 128th AFU's Mountain Assault Brigade attempted to break the advancing ranks of the RF Armed Forces in the area of #Stryapovka. As a result of the Russian counterattack, the AFU lost control over four positions.
♦️Additional Info:
▪️ Activity of 17th Tank Brigade formations from the #Kherson direction has been noted in #Kramatorsk. Earlier, one of the battalions was seen in the #Liman area.
▪️ In the #Dnepropetrovsk region, the completion of 56 Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade is underway and will be completed in January 2023.
▪️ A training camp for mobilised citizens has been set up at the training ground in #Cherkasy, and in #Belozorye, southwest of the administrative center, the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the AFU, which has been withdrawn from the combat zone, is being restaffed.
