🔹1. #Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️The RF Armed Forces continue to repulse AFU attacks in the #Rabotino area, firmly holding control over the village, as well as less intensive attempts by the enemy to attack in the #Pyatikhatki area.
📌 For the AFU the capture of #Rabotino is in fact now purely an image event, which can at least somehow answer the question why for more than 2 months all the neighbourhoods of #Rabotino were covered with corpses and wrecks of equipment. We are no longer talking about any deep breakthrough in this area.

🔹2. #Vremyevka Ledge:
❗️The situation for us here becomes more complicated.
▪️ The enemy is clinging to the northern part of #Urozhaynoye. Part of the village is actually in the grey zone. If our forces are finally squeezed out of there, then the enemy will be able to establish a stronger control over #Staromayorskoye and straighten the front, and then try to increase pressure in the area of #Novodonetskoye and #Priyutnoye, as well as try to develop an offensive on #Staromayorskoye.
📌 The enemy still has resources for further attacks in this area, so this activity should not be underestimated.

🔹3. #Ugledar, #Maryinka and #Avdeyevka Sections:
▪️There are no significant changes. Positional battles with very small advances are ongoing. The main efforts of the parties are now directed to other parts of the front.

🔹4. #Artyomovsk Direction:
▪️ Our troops continue to successfully repel enemy attacks to the northwest and southwest of #Artyomovsk. The enemy failed to take at least one of the important villages near the city.
📌 The reassignment of Syrsky to command the defence of #Kupyansk looks like a very symbolic act, although it was Syrsky who commanded the AFU offensive at #Artyomovsk that began on May 10. As a result, Syrsky was transferred from under Artyomovsk, in 3 months Syrsky with heavy losses took only a bunch of wooded areas and removed the immediate threat from Chasov Yar and #Krasnoye, while the reserves that were originally supposed to "surround #Artyomovsk" were burnt in the battles.

🔹5. #Seversk Ledge:
▪️ There are no significant changes. The fate of the ledge now largely depends on whether the RF Armed Forces will soon be able to reach the northern bank of the #Seversky Donets and take the #Seversk - #Belogorovka road under fire control.
📌 The enemy's defences near #Belogorovka and #Spornoye have not yet been pushed through. The enemy in turn has not been able to extract anything from its activity in the area of #Razdolovka and #Vasyukovka.

🔹6. #Svatovo Direction:
▪️The RF Armed Forces' advance continues in the area of #Karmazinovka and #Novoselovskoye, where the zone of control is expanding.
▪️ There is no new advance near #Torskoye and #Terny, the enemy is restraining our activity here with counterattacks in order to prevent advancement towards #Krasnyliman and #Yampol.

🔹7. #Kupyansk Direction:
▪️ To the northeast of #Kupyansk our slow advance continues, the enemy regularly loses strongholds and continues to evacuate from settlements near #Kupyansk in anticipation of the upcoming battles.
📌 The enemy reserves transferred here have not yet been able to change the current trend. The initiative here firmly belongs to our troops.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Why #Bakhmut is so Important for the AFU⚡️

🔹The importance of the #Bakhmut junction for the enemy is evident from the very dynamics of its offensive actions. We have already considered this issue, but from the point of view of our potential plans. Let's try to consider the #Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk) direction from the enemy's point of view.

🤚 The fact of the #Bakhmut capture by the forces of the Wagner PMC and the subsequent transfer of the liberated area to MoD units determined the activity of the AFU in this area for a long time. If we consider the configuration of our positions in the area of #Bakhmut, it is objectively unfavourable for the AFU to attack on the northern flank. The attempt to gain a foothold in the area of the #Berkhovskoye reservoir and to create pressure near Dubovo-Vasilyevka was not successful, as we still occupy the dominant heights, keeping under fire control the direction to Orekhovo-Vasilyevka. While three months ago units of the 56th Separate Mechanised Brigade occupied positions along the border of #Berkhovka, at the moment we have pushed them beyond the reservoir. Having pulled back, the enemy is trying to hold a bridgehead here with the forces of the 57th Mechanized Brigade.

▪️ The concentration of the AFU in the #Zheleznodorozhnoye section is also not high. Here are the 225th Battalion of the 127th Territorial Defence Brigade, 30th Mechanized Brigade, 27th Artillery Brigade, and the 8th Special Forces Regiment. This is explained by the fact that the enemy does not expect a counterattack from our side in this area, as well as the location 15 km northeast of the reserve grouping in #Seversk.

▪️ The southern flank, the strip #Kleshcheyevka - #Andreyevka - #Kurdyumovka was chosen as the direction of the main strike due to its favourable configuration, as well as the proximity of the Chasov Yar fortification, logistically tied to #Konstantinovka. It is the fact of uninterrupted logistics that allows the AFU to provide rotation of troops in this area in the shortest possible time, transferring fresh reserves. The situation on the southern flank of #Bakhmut has much in common with the situation in the #Zaporozhe (near #Rabotino) and Veliko-Novoselovskoye sections. Therefore, when we talk about the dynamics of the situation, which implies a constant transition of control over the positions from the enemy to us and vice versa, we should take into account that the defence forces are not only smaller in number, but are here virtually without rotation.

🇺🇦 As for the enemy's objectives, it is obvious that they are divided into three components:

✅ Tactical - to create an exhausting effect by forcing us to hold a large in number grouping in #Bakhmut, while the southern section of the front is in dire need of reserves.

✅ Informational and propagandistic - to take revenge for the biggest defeat of this year. After all, if we set aside the emotions that accompany reports about the situation in #Rabotino and on the #Vremyevka ledge, the enemy, having been advancing for more than three months, cannot boast of territorial gains comparable to the loss of #Bakhmut.

✅ Operative - in case of failure of the southern flank of #Bakhmut, the AFU do not exclude the possibility of going on the offensive simultaneously in the #Soledar area, as well as from the direction of #Seversk in the direction of #Rubezhnoye, creating a threat of a flank strike to our units conducting offensive operations in the direction of #Yampol - #Torskoye.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the Liman Sector until 15:00 on 8 December 2023⚡️

🗓 In the direction of #Liman, there has been a noticeable activation of the front in the last week.

🔹 The immediate task of the Russian troops is to eliminate the AFU bridgehead on the eastern bank of the #Zherebets River. The advance from the northern flank from the #Zhuravka beam is complicated by the nature of the terrain, so the offensive is developing from #Dibrova towards #Terny and #Yampolovka. The clearing of the western part of the #Shiroky ravine continues, and fighting is taking place on the outskirts of Yar Lapteva.

▪️ Ukrainian formations are trying to seize the initiative, using motorised infantry groups from the 67th Mechanised and 12th Separate Special Purpose Brigades. The fighting is taking place on the southern flank of the #Serebryanskoye forestry. The frontline has changed since autumn. Some AFU SRGs reached the outskirts of #Dibrova, so the RF Armed Forces are regaining lost positions in counterattacks.

📌 Despite the activation of the RF Armed Forces on this section of the front, a large scale offensive is complicated by concrete fortifications equipped by the AFU on the #Torskoye - #Serebryanskoye forestry - #Yampol section. If the possibility of eliminating the AFU bridgehead along the right bank of the #Zherebets River is quite realistic, then an offensive on the #Liman will require forcing the river and clearing all the territories up to the #Oskolskoye Reservoir (and this, given the current configuration of the front, will require serious resources and efforts).
