💥 The RF Armed Forces have again carried out massive strikes on critical infrastructure in #Ukraine. Enemy facilities in #Vinnitsa, #Cherkasy, #Khmelnytsky, #Poltava, #Kiev, #Sumy, #Kharkov, #Zaporozhye, #Dnipropetrovsk, #Nikolaev and #Odessa regions have been hit.

▪️ In the afternoon, the enemy militants used rocket artillery to hit #Vrubovka, injuring three civilians.

♦️#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ Russian motorised rifle units continue fighting with the AFU in the centre of #Maryinka.

The very fact that an enemy drone flew through the entire central part of the country, equipped with an echelon of air defences, discredits the Russian air defence forces as much as possible and looks strange. 🩸 In the morning, Russian troops launched another massive missile raid on Ukrainian territory. They hit energy facilities, air defence facilities and industrial zones in both the western and eastern regions of #Ukraine. During the night, the RF Armed Forces worked on the targets using the Geran-2 kamikaze UAV.

♦️#Russia's Border Areas:

▪️ In the #Bryansk region, the AFU militants attempted to attack the village of #Klintsy with a drone, but air defences shot down the target on approach.

Another Ukrainian drone was shot down over Engels-2 airfield this morning (29 Dec 2022). This is the third attempt to hit a this base of strategic aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces after the attacks of 5 Dec 2022 and 👉 26 Dec 2022.

Rybar's team managed to find out that military and commercial spacecraft were surveying a huge number of sites on Russian territory in December.

♦️ What else were the Satellites tracking?

▪️ The most active (more than 50 imaging sessions in December), Ukraine's western partners monitored airfields of strategic, tactical and army aviation in #Rostov, #Voronezh, #Zaporozhye and #Ryazan regions as well as in the Republic of #Crimea.

▪️ The situation around facilities in the #Belgorod and #Bryansk regions, which are linked to the 12th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defence and are responsible for nuclear technical support and national security, is monitored almost continuously.

▪️ Surveillance and reconnaissance of facilities at #Mozdok in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and Privolzhsky in the Astrakhan region, as well as at Astrakhan International Airport, began for the first time in December.

▪️ The infrastructure of nuclear power plants in #Kurchatov and the village of #Makarovka in the #Kursk region is surveyed with enviable frequency.

▪️ In addition, the enemy's attention is focused on the situation in the Republic of #Crimea and #Sevastopol. Satellites mainly capture airbases and Black Sea Fleet shipyards, as well as logistics hubs and military-industrial complex enterprises in the border regions.

♦️What does this mean?

Reconnaissance of targets on Russian territory goes on almost continuously. NATO space constellations, as well as private contractors like Maxar, are fully focused on working for #Ukraine.

Satellites are used to monitor the movements of strategic bombers, the movement of rail and road convoys, the deployment of front-line personnel, and the situation at Russian nuclear facilities.

This allows analysts of the North Atlantic bloc to choose the most suitable direction or target for an offensive, including at a great distance from the frontline.

Moreover, priority is now being given to disabling airfields at a great distance from the front line. Such actions are designed to deprive the RF Armed Forces of an important advantage, as well as to demonstrate the capabilities of the AFU and sow panic among the Russian population.

In the near future, we should expect strikes on power facilities not only in the regions bordering #Ukraine, but also at a considerable distance from the combat zone.

♦️What to do about it?

Aid and assistance from the US and allies will not stop. They will increase, and attempted strikes will be repeated. Acknowledging this fact will already make it easier to level the efforts of the AFU and their Western sponsors.

A simple observance of basic security and stealth requirements and the erection of improvised defensive structures are already capable of reducing the damage from possible attacks. It will be possible to recall the long-forgotten practice of taking into account the time of overflight by NATO earth-sensing satellites over the area where the object is located.

And in the short term there will be a question of mass introduction into the troops of a really working automated air control and warning system, which will allow air defence units to receive data on the situation at all sites.

💥 The enemy attacked airfields at night. In the #Saratov region, UAVs were shot down in #Engels. More than 40 drones attacked an airfield in the Morozovsky district of the #Rostov region. The electrical substation is damaged.

🔹The #Kherson direction is characterised by the stability of the line of contact, despite the constant enemy attempts to create new points of tension on our coast by landing small groups of infantry. There is a constant hunt and destruction of enemy boats. The enemy is shelling, including peaceful settlements. Over the day, attacks were reported on Cossack Camps, #Dneprany, #Korsunka, #Alyoshki. In Novaya Kakhovka, the AFU dropped a bomb from a drone on a team of workers who were restoring mobile communications in the city. Two people were killed, and one is in serious condition in the hospital. The governor reports that one of the dead could have survived, but the Nazis began to hit the ambulance team that arrived at the scene by UAVs. Because of this, it was not possible to provide medical care to the wounded in time. In #Kakhovka, the AFU dropped mines from drones near the post office building and on the House of culture.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye front, there are counter battles. The AFU at #Verbovoye use tanks to shell our positions, the RFAF respond with bombs, daring landing attacks on BMD-4 and the work of nomadic self-propelled mortars 2C41 "Drok". Our soldiers from the field report that, despite Kiev's assurances about running out of ammunition, the enemy is constantly hitting with cluster shells. Yesterday, the AFU fired at the ZNPP in #Energodar. The nuclear facility switched to providing energy from diesel generators: the 330 kV Feroalloy -1 high-voltage power supply line was disconnected. The power units were previously shut down. The radiation background is normal.

🔹The suburbs of #Chasov Yar have been reached by the advanced units of the Russian Army in heaviest battles from the east. They are entrenched on the outskirts. The enemy reports that at least 4 of our SU-25s are working at the same time, armoured vehicles are used on the ground in attacks by the RFAF, which the enemy is trying to destroy on the approaches. The enemy channels lament the long but useless preparation of the AFU defensive lines on the approaches to the city from the east, which our units have already overcome.

🔹South of #Seversk, the RFAF are attacking near #Vesyoloye. They are reporting the intensification of offensive actions of our troops.
