⚡️🇺🇦🌉🛤 @Rybar: How to Cut the Supply of the AFU Grouping near #Kherson⚡️
Throughout the Special Military Operation, we have regularly published lists of targets and provided our own analysis on critical Ukrainian infrastructure. In our view, the priority targets of the strikes were to be:
▪️ Bridges over the #Dnipro River (this would cut off the AFU grouping in the #Donbass);
▪️ Railway bridges in Western Ukraine and substations on the border with #Poland (this would cut off AFU supply from abroad);
▪️ Traction Substations (this would deprive the AFU of the ability to transfer reserves quickly by rail);
▪️ Depots and Recovery Trains (this would deprive the AFU of the ability to repair railway bridges and tracks).
We do not know the reasons why the decision to decommission the obvious targets was never taken. In this case, it is not that important.
Such measures have now been resorted to. At least energy and water infrastructure is being hit. Therefore, in the context of the forthcoming battle for #Kherson and possible complication of the operational and tactical situation Rybar's team prepared a list of targets that would help cut the railway supply of the AFU grouping in the #Nikolaev - #KrivoyRog direction.

#Apostolovo (there are loading ramps):
▪️ It is possible to block the station by hitting the following objects:
➖ The bridge over the #Bazavluk River (electrified line to #Zaporozhye): 47.615765, 34.050716
➖ Bridge over South Reservoir (electrified line to Krivoy Rog): 47.848247, 33.506936
➖ Bridge over the #Kamenka River (non-electrified line to #Dnipropetrovsk): 47.740510, 33.774697
▪️ Interfere with traffic by hitting the station throats:
➖ Northwest station neck: 47.663556, 33.688887
➖ Southeast station neck: 47.653044, 33.700969
#Ingulets River (there are loading ramps and a developed network of freight tracks):
▪️ The station can be blocked by hitting the bridges within Krivoy Rog city limits:
➖ Bridge over the #Ingulets River (electrified line towards Krivoy Rog-West station): 47.879503, 33.329674
➖ Bridge over Saksagan River (electrified line around Krivoy Rog railway junction): 47.904202, 33.280725
▪️ The station has one neck (dead-end): 47.682659, 33.141004
#Dolinskaya (there are loading ramps):
▪️ Block the direction to #Nikolaev and #Pomoshnaya by hitting the railway overpass (non-electrified line to #Nikolaev). If it collapses, it will fall onto the tracks and traffic in both directions will be blocked.
Coordinates: 48.079247, 32.76237
▪️ The line to #Znamenka cannot be effectively blocked: there are no bridges or overpasses there. Therefore, the only option left is to hit the northern neck of #Dolinskaya station or, alternatively, to hit #Znamenka station. But there is a recovery train on the section.

Coordinates of the second point: 48.688326, 32.620170.
▪️ Prevent transports by hitting the throats:
➖ South station neck: 48.110104, 32.762684
➖ North station neck: 48.123856, 32.756854
The strike on #Dolinskaya must necessarily take place at the same time as the strikes on the bridges in Krivoy Rog, otherwise the station cannot be cut off from the east.

▪️ To effectively cut off the railway traffic, a single bridge strike is sufficient. The fire attack can be made both from the side of the Southern Bug and #Nikolaev. We give coordinates from the #Nikolaev side. The Southern Bug side is more difficult to repair, but easier to ensure delivery of building materials.

#Bereznegovatoye:
The station has been hit several times and the railway bed is partially destroyed. It can all be rebuilt. But provided the link with Krivoy Rog is cut, no additional impact on #Bereznegovatoye will be needed.

Critical Railway Infrastructure Objects in Nikolaev Direction
⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Chronicle of the Special Military Operation for 28 Oct 2022⚡️
#Belgorod Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled the village of #Krasnoye in #Shebekinsky district of #Belgorod region, no injuries or casualties.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ There are no significant changes in the #Kupyansk area, with artillery duels along the line of contact.
▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, the enemy attempted an offensive on #Kuzemovka, but retreated to the #Berestovoye area after losing about 10 vehicles.
▪️ At the #Lyman sector, Ukrainian formations made an attempt to storm #Chervonopopovka from the direction of #Nevskoye, but on the march they fell into the fire bag of the 20th Army's 252nd Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment. After heavy losses, the enemy withdrew to positions near the eastern bank of the #Zherebet.
Nevertheless, the AFU retains considerable reserves in this area in the form of 6 BTGr, which allows the enemy to launch attacks without regard to own losses.
▪️ In the #Lysychansk sector, artillery duels occur at #Belogorovka and #Grigorovka.
#Soledar Direction:
▪️ The situation on the front has not changed significantly. There is fighting on the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut, in the suburbs near the asphalt plant and on the outskirts of #Opytnoye and #Soledar.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ After a temporary overnight lull, Ukrainian militants shelled #Donetsk, #Makeevka, #Yasinovataya and #Gorlovka again, with civilian casualties.
#Lugansk People's Republic:
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled #Pervomaysk overnight, damaging civilian infrastructure in the city.
A young woman was killed by the shelling, her child was orphaned.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ The AFU tried to storm the Russian positions on the heights near #Vremevka, but the attack failed. The enemy retreated and suffered losses of personnel and equipment.
#Dnipropetrovsk Region:
▪️ Russian Forces repeatedly attacked enemy targets in #Pavlograd. At the same time, Russian artillery operated on targets in #Nikopol.
#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front:
▪️ Russian Forces carried out strikes on enemy positions in #Nikolaev, Davydov Brod and #Bereznegovatoye during the night.
▪️ AFU militants in turn, shelled Novaya Kakhovka, #Kherson, Bolshaya and Malaya Lepetikha. Most of the shells were intercepted by the air defence.

In the morning, the Russian Armed Forces launched massive missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. Russian forces hit substations and switchgear of the #Kanevskaya, #Kremenchug, #Prydniprovskaya, #Dneprovskaya and #Kievskaya HPPs, as well as the #Zalyutino substation in #Kharkov.
The attack caused large-scale power outages across the country and further reduced the stability of the Ukraine's unified energy system.
#Belgorod Region:
▪️ AFU militants shelled the border village of #Krasnoye in #Belgorod Region, with no civilian casualties. In the evening, air defence intercepted several aerial targets over #Belgorod.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ In the #Kupyansk area, the enemy, supported by foreign mercenaries, made another offensive attempt towards #Kuzemovka and #Orlyanka, but failed and retreated.
▪️ In the #Tavolzhanka sector near #Dvurechnaya the 14th AFU Mechanized Brigade formed assault detachments for a diversionary attack.
▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, the enemy command is moving forces into the #Borovaya area for another offensive against #Raygorodka.

▪️ Ukrainian militants have shelled the #Donetsk agglomeration once again. #Donetsk, #Makeevka, #Yasynuvata, #Gorlovka and #Yelenovka came under fire.
#Ugledar Direction (MAP):
▪️ Russian forces liberated more than half of the village of #Pavlovka and took control of the crossing at #Kashgalach River. The AFU retain control of the state farm on the opposite river bank.

▪️ The AFU is conducting massive mortar and artillery fire from positions in Stepovaya Dolina, #Chervonoye, #Luparevo, and #Novogrigorovka into the areas of #Aleksandrovka, #Pravdino, Ternovye Pody, #Blagodatnoye and #Vasilki.
▪️ KVSG-6 anti-drone guns were delivered to the AFU frontlines to repel Russian drones.
#Andreevka Sector:
▪️ Mutual shelling continues. The mortar battery of the 61st Separate Infantry Brigade in Sukhoy Stavok and the artillery battery of the AFU's 46th Separate Air Assault Brigade in Malaya Aleksandrovka shelled the Karlo-Marksovskoye - #Staritsa and #Sadok - #Borozenskoye line.
▪️ Retaliatory artillery fire from the Russian forces hit an AFU deployment point near Davydov Brod. The exact number of casualties is unknown.
▪️ A few hours ago, two Mi-8 helicopters transported dead and wounded (about 20 people) from Davydov Brod to #Bereznegovatoye.

▪️ Brigade artillery groups, mortar batteries, tactical aircraft and army aviation helicopters are firing en masse in preparation for the attacks.
#Nikolaev Sector:
▪️ Mortar and self-propelled artillery batteries of the 28th Mechanized Brigade and 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and a howitzer division of the 63rd AFU Mechanized Brigade, supported by aircraft and tanks, intensified the shelling of Russian positions along the frontline from #Aleksandrovka to #Blagodatnoye.
#Andreevka Sector:
▪️ Units of the 61st AFU Separate Infantry Brigade shell Russian positions near #Bezymennoye and Karlo-Marksovskoye with "roving" mortar calculations.
▪️ Two convoys of military equipment have moved from #Bereznegovatoye towards the line of contact.
➖ One of them, about 20 AFU tanks has left for Davydov Brod.
➖ The other, consisting of infantry fighting vehicles and armoured personnel carriers, departed in the direction of the #Snigirovka sector.
➖ In addition, infantry in Ural trucks is being moved to #Bereznegovatoye.
#Berislav Area:

🩸 Amid rumours of the imminent withdrawal of Russian forces from the Right Bank and the abandonment of the north of the #Kherson region, Ukrainian formationd have been conducting combat reconnaissance in three areas: Posad-Pokrovskoye, #Berislav and #Snigirovka.
While in the first two the enemy suffered losses and retreated, heavy fighting took place in the morning in the #Snigirovka front section.
▪️ The enemy tried to break through by moving reserves from #Visunsk and #Bereznegovatoye.
▪️ We have no indications of a Ukrainian breakthrough. It is unclear whether the enemy managed to entrench themselves along the railway tracks on the northern outskirts of #Snigirovka. However, fighting is taking place along the northern edge of the city.
The settlement is now in the combat zone where aircraft, artillery and equipment are engaging the enemy. The 205th Brigade is holding the defences.

#Kursk Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants attacked the Glushkovskaya power substation from a drone. The power station was not damaged in the incident and there were no casualties.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ In the #Kupyansk frontline sector, units of the 14th Mechanized AFU Brigade have gone on the defensive, losing a large amount of personnel and equipment.
▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, Ukrainian formations from the 1st Battalion of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade and the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade again attempted to storm #Kuzemovka, but were stopped by aviation and artillery fire.
▪️ In the #Lyman sector, the 66th Mechanized Brigade made an unsuccessful attempt to storm the Russian positions in the direction of #Makeyevka.
➖ At the same time, units of the AFU's 81th Separate Airmobile Brigade and 25th Airmobile Brigade tried to break through the Russian defence line in the direction of #Kremennaya, but failed and withdrew.
➖ In an artillery duel, the Russian forces succeeded in destroying a radar station, a communications vehicle and several BMPs of the enemy.
#Donetsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ DPR People's Militia units continue their operation to flank the Ukrainian grouping in the #Avdeevka stronghold. Fighting has resumed for #Vodyanoye, #Opytnoye and #Pervomayskoye.
The capture of the settlements will make it possible to expand the security zone around the #Donetsk agglomeration and flank the AFU grouping in #Avdeevka.
▪️ Tense fighting continues in #Maryinka. While MLRS and artillery calculations of Russian troops are engaging targets on the western outskirts of the settlement, assault groups are advancing towards Druzhba Avenue, 200 metres away.
▪️ Ukrainian militants have once again shelled major populated areas of the DPR. Several civilians were killed in the attacks in #Donetsk - including a young girl.
▪️ As a result of the strike on the power substation in #Yasynuvata, a large part of the city was left without electricity and three boiler houses were put out of service. Work is underway to restore power supply.
#Southdonetsk Direction:
▪️ Near #Novomikhailovka, the advance of Russian troops has slowed due to weather conditions. The Ukrainian formations are taking advantage of this and are moving additional reserves into the frontline area.
▪️ Sakhalin warriors acting as part of reconnaissance and assault contours, keep the #Ugledar - #Maryinka road under fire control, cutting off enemy supply routes with fire.
#Dnipropetrovsk Region:
▪️ Russian forces carried out several strikes with the Geran-2 kamikaze drones on AFU facilities in Krivoy Rog. At the same time, Russian troops hit enemy positions in #Marganets, #Ilyinka and #Vyshetarasovka.
#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front (MAP):
▪️ In the #Berislav area, several units of the AFU, supported by artillery, launched an offensive northeast of the village of #Dudchany.
The enemy managed to penetrate deep into Russian territory and entrench itself on a farm near #Dudchany. The AFU command is currently preparing for a further offensive to reach #Mylovoye.

▪️ Four companies of the 5th Composite and 3rd Mechanized Battalion of the 28th AFU Mechanized Brigade have taken up positions at the #Chornobaevka airfield and in #Antonovka.
▪️ The forces of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade have crossed the #Ingulets River via a pontoon near the Daryevsky Bridge and occupied the #Nikolskoye - #Novotyaginka line.
▪️ Over the past 24 hours, eight tanks and ten armoured vehicles were moved from the #Bereznegovatoye railway station to the Krivoy Rog area. Five more tanks will be transferred during 19 November.

▪️ 19 combat reconnaissance and amphibious vehicles, 3 BTR-70s, 1 BTR-4E, 1 Humvee IFV, 1 IFV, 2 ZiL-131-based control and communication vehicles passed through #Dnepropetrovsk on their own. Additionally, 3 Krab SAU, 1 Gvozdika SAU, 2 BRDMs, and 1 Humvee IFV were on the trawls.
▪️ 3 TMM-3 heavy mechanised heavy bridges were seen along with the rest of the equipment. This indicates the transfer of engineering formations to the #Kherson direction.
❗️The ongoing transport of equipment and personnel to the west confirms that the AFU intends to carry out a largescale operation in #Crimea and the #Kherson region. In #Bereznegovatoye and #Vladimirovka in the #Nikolayev region, the headquarters of the 35th and 36th Separate Marines Brigades have already been deployed.
