The Russian army, taking advantage of the fact that the AFU has moved part of its forces from #Kupyansk direction, launched a local counterattack in order to improve its position in this area.
The day before, our units took control of the village of #Gorobyevka, which was a prelude to today's strike in the direction of the #Dvurechnoye railway. And if successful, the #Dvurechnoye bridgehead will be finished, which will be an important moment to restore, at least partially, our defence line along the #Oskol River.

At noon, the Russian Forces again struck critical infrastructure facilities in #Ukraine. Several targets were hit, including Ladyzhinskaya TPP in #Vinnitsa and Burshtynskaya TPP in the Ivano-Frankovsk region.
Due to the systematic fire, the Ukrainian powery system is losing resilience. Authorities have planned a temporary power outage across the country on 20 October.

▪️ During the day, Ukrainian militants shelled #Belgorod, shells fell on one of the infrastructure facilities and caused no serious damage. Also AFU hit the town of #Shebekino in #Belgorod region. Two civilians were seriously wounded.

▪️ Formations of the 54th AFU Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade attempted to retake the territory of an asphalt plant. Wagner PMC fighters repulsed the attack and Ukrainian troops suffered heavy losses.
▪️ Due to the threat of a defensive breakthrough by Wagner PMC assault troops, the enemy command moved units of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade into the city and to the south of #Andreevka settlement.
▪️ AFU units continue to arrive in Chasov Yar. By 25 October, the Ukrainian command plans to deploy a grouping of around 10,000 troops in that direction.
#Lugansk Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants have launched a HIMARS MLRS strike on #Popasna.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ There are no significant changes in the front line near #Donetsk. DPR troops are fighting near #Donetsk airport, defeating enemy SRGs trying to penetrate advanced Russian positions.
▪️ Ukrainian militants again shelled #Donetsk, #Yasynuvata, #Makeevka, #Yelenovka and other settlements in the #Donetsk agglomeration.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ In the early hours of the morning, Ukrainian HIMARS missiles attacked the city administration building of #Energodar.
#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front (MAP):
▪️ In the #Berislav section, AFU forces with assault groups of 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, 60th Infantry Brigade, 28th Mechanized Brigade and 17th Tank Brigade launched an offensive on the Russian positions near #Sukhanovo and #Polyanka.
▪️ Russian Forces repulsed the attack, the Ukrainian formations lost more than 10 pieces of equipment. Russian servicemen captured a group of Ukrainian fighters and seized several trophy armoured vehicles.

▪️ The Ukrainian command expects an offensive by Russian Forces from the direction of #Gorobyevka. On the southern outskirts of #Sinkovka and near #Petropavlovka, the 65th and 202nd Battalions of the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade have taken up devensive positions.
#Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Ukrainian formations of the 64th Battalion of the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade, reinforced by several armoured vehicles, conducted a reconnaissance battle on the #Raygorodka - #Kovalevka line.
The attack was repulsed by concentrated artillery fire from the Russian Forces. AFU units suffered casualties. Due to difficulties in moving armoured vehicles and a shortage of fuel and lubricants, the enemy withdrew its tanks to the #Borovaya area.
▪️ As soon as weather conditions improve, attempts to storm the Russian borders will be resumed. Special Forces assault squads have been moved to #Borovaya to reinforce the grouping.
#Lyman Sector:
The AFU continue preparations for a large-scale offensive against #Kremennaya from the #Torskoye - #Terny line. Additional units are being redeployed to the #Lyman area.

▪️ Units of the 14th Mechanized Brigade are preparing for a new attempt to storm the Russian strongholds near #Yagodnoye. Additional AFU units have arrived nearby to the west of the village and an UAV is operating along the frontline.
▪️ At the same time, the enemy command is considering the option of a counterattack by Russian forces from the direction of #Gorobyevka. On the #Kupyansk - #Petropavlovka line, the 32nd Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU is building strongholds.
#Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Combined artillery units of the 25th Airmobile Brigade, the 103rd and 128th AFU Territorial Defence Brigades shelled #Rozovka. The Russian forces retaliated fire and hit the advance post of the 2nd Battalion of the 25th Airmobile Brigade.

▪️ Also, Russian assault teams from the #Liman 1 area are attacking AFU positions in #Gorobyevka and #Gryanikovka, hampering the capability of the 106th Battalion of the AFU's 109th Territorial Defence Brigade in this zone.
🔹#Kupyansk Sector:
▪️ Artillerymen of the RF Armed Forces provide fire support to the advancing forces. The strongholds of the defense in #Kupyansk, #Sinkovka, #Petropavlovka and #Golubovka, as well as warehouses with ammunition and food, have been hit.
▪️ Militants of Ukrainian formations are spreading information about the difficult situation in the vicinity of #Kupyansk due to heavy losses in personnel. Some units have withdrawn to reserve positions for regrouping.
📌 The Russian offensive on a broad front from #Kupyansk to #Bakhmut stretches the AFU defences and ties up forces in certain areas.

▪️ The Russian army has launched an offensive near #Kremennaya. Ours advanced as far as #Yampolovka DPR and knocked out the Territorial Defence near #Dibrova, as well as pressuring near #Makeyevka LPR.
▪️ Fighting continues in #Dvurechnoye in the #Kupyansk area, in parallel we are advancing on AFU positions in #Gorobyevka and #Gryanikovka in the #Kharkov region.
▪️ In addition, the advance of the Russian 144th Motorized Rifle Division and the liberation of #Belogorovka opens up another exit to #Seversk.
🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Sector:
▪️ Wagner PMC fighters are crushing the enemy in the southern and southeastern quarters of #Artyomovsk, advancing in parallel to #Krasnoye.
➖ Also, military correspondents confirm the entry of the "orchestrators" into the northern part of the city (figure 2), a mop-up is currently underway there.

💡 There is evidence that three that three large columns of militants were heading towards #Dimitrov DPR (figure 1). Among them, a large number of Grad MLRS were seen. These forces could be used by the AFU in any direction, but the most logical would be to move them to #Ugledar, where the Russian army is conducting heavy battles.

▪️ The AFU is simply unable to defend this area and launch a counterattack to regain the lost positions at the moment due to the redeployment of some formations to the #Bakhmut and #Ugledar areas.
The 66th and 25th Brigades suffered heavy losses during artillery strikes and the extreme spurt by the Russian 144th Motorized Rifle Division to #Yampolovka and the area of Balka Zhuravka, which cannot be replenished in short term.
▪️ Partial evacuation of the forces of the AFU's 66th Mechanized Brigade to #Liman and #Kramatorsk began from the forward positions to restore combat capability and build a new defence line.
