Así lo declaró ayer la Primera Ministra finlandesa, Sanna Marin, durante una visita a Estocolmo. Según ella, la seguridad de ambos países está vinculada, por lo que sería más ventajoso para la alianza admitirlos en su seno al mismo tiempo.

La primera ministra puso así fin a la discusión de que Finlandia necesita acelerar el proceso de admisión en la OTAN sin mirar atrás a Suecia y sus desacuerdos con la parte turca.

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said this during a visit to Stockholm yesterday. According to her, the security of the two countries is linked, so it would be more advantageous for the alliance to admit them to its membership at the same time.

🇫🇮 #Finland has joined the #NATO military-political bloc. History seems to be repeating itself, as the country was once allied with Nazi Germany. American spy planes have already been spotted in Finnish airspace. But apart from the political consequences economic problems are awaiting our neighbour due to the anti-Russian policy. #Finland itself is not very much of a threat, but it can be used as a bridgehead for the troops of the North Atlantic Alliance.

⚔️ Situation on the Fronts for the past Day

🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Sector:

▪️ "Orchestrators" liberated the entire territory of the industrial zone, in addition, the railway station "Bakhmut-1" was taken. Fighters of the Wagner PMCs fully control the central district, entrenched along Sibirtsev Street and approached the Metallurg stadium. Fighting continues on Zelenaya Street, on Boris Gorbatov Street and in the vicinity of school number 11. Also to the south, our forces are advancing in the direction of Avangard stadium.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

➖ The Russian army is trying to advance towards #Avdeyevka from the east and southwest.
➖ Our forces are advancing in the area of #Severnoye and #Pervomayskoye.
➖ Fierce fighting continues in the centre of #Maryinka. Russian fighters are mauling the militants' infantry and equipment.
➖ Russian aviation is active in #Ugledar.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction:

➖ An artillery depot near #Orekhov has been destroyed.

💡 The Speaker of the AFU Air Force Command stated that #Ukraine has three brigades of MiG-29s and two brigades of Su-27s. Thus, according to its own statements, the Kiev regime has 72 MiGs at its disposal. On the one hand, these are obsolete aircraft; on the other hand, the extra fourth-generation fighters will not prevent militants from using them against the Russian army and civilians.

⚡️🇺🇦🇪🇺🇺🇸 About the upcoming "Air Defender - 2023" Exercise and how it relates to #Ukraine⚡️

🇩🇪 The Multinational Exercise "Air Defender - 2023" will take place from 12 to 23 June 2023 under the leadership of the FRG. It is already being called in the long term the largest joint #NATO Air Forces exercise in history.

Twenty-four countries, more than 220 aircraft and over ten thousand #NATO troops will take part in the manoeuvres. The focus will be on a collective defence scenario for the Alliance.

The airspace above #Germany in the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and Bavaria is reserved for the exercise. In addition, air bases in Great Britain, the Czech Republic, #Poland and #Estonia and #Latvia will be used.

Flights to the Black Sea area are also planned, and given #Finland's accession to #NATO, an increase of Alliance aviation activity near Russia's borders in #Karelia and on the Kola Peninsula is to be expected.

🔹What does #Ukraine have to do with it?

It is rather curious how #NATO's combat training activities correlate with the events in #Ukraine. Just a few weeks ago, when news of the impending offensive first emerged, Kiev intensified preparations.

The Zelensky administration had intended the attack to coincide with #NATO exercises. Information began to circulate among members of Ukrainian formations that the assault would begin right after "Defender Europe" on 22 April 2023.

Such a move, according to the logic of the Ukrainian authorities, was supposed to show the unity of the "Whole World" against #Russia.

However, problems in personnel training and supply of weapons and equipment, huge losses in the most combat capable AFU formations in #Soledar and #Bakhmut significantly affected the capabilities of Ukrainian formations.

🔹Now the same AFU Units are already talking about the May campaign, which is going to be timed to coincide with Victory Day for a greater informational effect. And unlike April, there are already more combat ready brigades in the ranks of the AFU.

However, according to both #NATO leaders and Western news agencies, this is not enough for the success of the offensive. For example, the 47th and 67th Mechanized Brigades are 75% manned, despite their status as " Elite Brigades".

The AFU will theoretically be able to reach its maximum combat capability by June, when another five to eight new brigades will be formed.

The Western media are presenting "Air Defender - 2023" as "#NATO's Greatest Exercise", and the Ukrainian authorities will surely try to use the news coverage to their advantage.

And massive flights of both tactical and strategic reconnaissance aircraft to #Russia's southern and northern borders are highly likely to be accompanied by provocations or attempted strikes by Ukrainian formations.

🔴 The RF Armed Forces attacked with "Geraniums" objects in #Kiev, #Odessa, #Zaporozhye, #Chernigov and #Sumy regions during the night.

▪️ In the #Artyomovsk sector, the Wagner PMC advanced up to 160m, suffering heavy losses due to a shortage of shells for artillery support, Prigozhin said.

🔵 The Enemy attacked the Supreme's residence in the #Kremlin yesterday with two UAVs. Footage of one of them exploding near the dome was caught on video footage. Zelensky had gone to #Finland before the attack, and threatening statements from Russian officials have been made.

▪️ In the #Zaporozhye direction the enemy conducted a limited reconnaissance battle south of #Orekhov last night. It was met with fire, suffered losses and withdrew.

▪️ In the #Crimea our air defence system worked near #Feodosia. Objects of the enemy were destroyed, no casualties.

▪️ In the #Rostov region, the AFU attacked the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant at night. A UAV crashed into the structures of the plant's inter-workshop trestle and then exploded. The fire was extinguished immediately.

▪️ In the #Krasnodar edge, the Ilsky Oil Refinery was attacked. The refinery caught fire due to a Ukrainian drone strike.

▪️ On the DPR, the enemy fired 360 rounds of ammunition. #Gorlovka, #Mikhaylovka, Shirokaya Balka, #Novobakhmutovka, #Mineralnoye, #Vasilyevka, #Novosyolovka II, #Yakovlevka, #Yasinovataya, #Donetsk, #Makeyevka, #Alexandrovka, #Mospino, #Sladkoye, #Shevchenko, #Stepnoye, #Yegorovka, #Nikolskoye, #Vladimirovka came under fire.
