📋🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Two Majors #Report for the Morning of 12 July 2023; pub. 07:00📍
▪️ During the night, the RF Armed Forces carried out strikes by "Geranium" kamikaze UAVs against targets in #Cherkassy and #Kiev regions, and the enemy's air defence systems were at work.
▪️ From the southern flank of the #Bakhmut sector, there were reports of the AFU breaking through to #Kleshchiyevka and attempting to entrench the enemy on the northern outskirts of the settlement. The RF Armed Forces brought reserves into the battle and launched a counterattack to eliminate the breakthrough. Enemy stormtroopers were destroyed and up to 10 Ukrainian militants were taken prisoner. Heavy fighting is going on.
▪️ In the #Orekhov section of the #Zaporozhye front, the AFU do not stop attacking in the direction of the settlement of #Rabotino, despite daily losses in manpower and equipment. There were published statements from the junior commanders of the AFU about the incompetence of the Ukrainian command due to the organisation of unsuccessful "meat assaults" The defence is held by our soldiers from 291st, 70th, 71st Motorized Rifle Regiments and the 150th detachment of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division, and units of 810th Separate Marines Brigade. Aviation and artillery are working.
▪️ In the #SouthDonetsk direction, the AFU are attacking from the #Vremyevka direction and are entrenched in the landings.
▪️ In the #Kherson direction, our units yesterday stopped assault operations in the area of the #Antnovsky Bridge due to the excess of the enemy bank over ours and the constant fire of enemy artillery, mortars and large-calibre machine guns across the #Dnieper. The enemy is trapped on a small piece of terrain on our bank, incoming AFU reinforcements are destroyed by the fire of our guns. The enemy is preparing to force the #Dnieper, for this purpose the arrival of the Territorial Defence command in the northeastern part of the #Kherson region is expected. The railway bridge across the river was blown up.
▪️ The RF Armed Forces launched a counterattack west of #Kremennaya and advanced in the area of the Zhuravka Balka and in the vicinity of #Torskoye.
▪️ Shelling continues in the #Belgorod and #Zaporozhye regions. Storm Shadow missiles were used on #Berdyansk and cluster munitions on #Tokmak. General Tsokov, deputy commander of the Southern Military District, is reported dead from #Berdyansk.
▪️ On the DPR, the enemy fired 267 munitions; #Gorlovka, #Yasinovataya, #Donetsk, #Makeyevka, #Staromikhaylovka, #Yelenovka and #Luganskoye are under fire. A civilian was wounded.
