⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battle for #Kherson: Situation in the #Andreevka and #Berislav Sections at 17:00 on 14 Oct 2022⚡️
#Andreevka Sector:
▪️ Two platoons of the 18th and 137th Battalions of the 35th AFU Marine Brigade attempted to storm the positions of Russian Forces north of #Bezvodnoye. Artillery fire pushed the Ukrainian Marines back to their initial positions with losses.
▪️ Russian Special Forces continue to raid Ukrainian strongholds in the direction of Sukhoy Stavok. Some of the personnel of the 11th Separate Composite Battalion of the AFU are demoralised due to the increased attacks by Russian Forces.
▪️ Due to continous Russian artillery and aviation strikes on the areas where Ukrainian formations are concentrated, the 3rd Battalion of the 28th Brigade and a platoon of the 137th Battalion of the 35th Separate Marines Brigade of the AFU are beeing withdrawn to #Murakhovka and #Shevchenkovo to restore combat readiness.
#Berislav Area:
▪️ The AFU are conducting harassing fire on the Russian positions in #Pyatikhatki and #Polyanka using a 120mm mortar on an armoured fighting vehicle from the Novaya Kamenka area.
▪️ The forces of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade and 131st Reconnaissance Battalion of the Territorial Defence of the AFU establish a stronghold six kilometres north of #Polyanka. An advanced repair and recovery point for damaged AFU equipment has been set up in #Shevchenkovka.
▪️ Units of the 79th Border Command of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are deployed on the #Osokorovka - #Novoalexandrovka line to protect the coastal areas of the #Dnipro River.
▪️ The command of the 17th Tank Brigade in #Ukrainka organised firing exercises for mobilised personnel.

Early in the morning, after a brief artillery preparation, the AFU with two battalion-tactical groups of 60th Infantry and armoured vehicles of the 17th Tank Brigade, supported by mobile groups of the 140th AFU Special Forces Regiment made an unsuccessful attempt to advance from Novaya Kamenka to the #Dudchany - #Mylovoye - #Novogrigorovka line.
▪️ The Ukrainian command did not undertake any offensive actions from the direction of Davydov Brod.
▪️ The greatest personnel losses were suffered by the units of the 140th Special Forces FSO Regiment of the AFU, which reconnoitered the fighting positions of the Russian forces and were the first to attack.
▪️ The enemy motorized infantry and tanks, which followed in the second echelon, came under concentrated fire from Giatsint-B guns and Smerch MLRS.
▪️ At the same time, anti-aircraft positions of Ukrainian Forces at Zeleny Gay, #Novogrednevo and #Murakhovka were hit by Geran-2 and Lancet drones.
▪️ After AFU air defenses were suppressed, a series of airstrikes were carried out against enemy units that had suffered artillery losses.
▪️ The surviving AFU fighters scattered across the fields in various directions away from the Ukrainian equipment columns that were hit. Mobile infantry groups of Russian Forces are in the process of clearing forest belts near the hit and abandoned AFU equipment.
▪️ Russian Air Force Su-25 and Su-34 attack aircraft continued to work on the equipment piles and initial AFU positions.
The attack cost the AFU not less than 120 dead. At least 20 YPR-765PRI and BMP-2 armoured vehicles and at least 5 T-64BV tanks were destroyed.

#PosadPokrovskoye Sector:
▪️ Mutual shelling of the sides continues. The mortar battery of the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade is shelling Ternovy Pody from #Lyubomirovka, and the mortar battery of the 3rd Battalion of the 28th Mechanized Brigade from #Luparevo is shelling #Alexandrovka.
▪️ The school building in #Luparevo houses the 3rd Battalion's command and observation post, and the site is equipped with a drone launch site.
#Andreevka Sector:
▪️ The Ukrainian command is conducting reconnaissance of the Russian Forces' positions on the frontline of the #Kostromka - #Bruskinskoye defense line. Ukrainian artillery is shelling Russian positions from #Murakhovka.
▪️ Over the past 24 hours, 74 pieces of equipment were moved to the left bank of the #Ingulets River via the established crossings, while 86 pieces of equipment has been moved to repair and reconstruction.
#Berislav Area:
▪️ The AFU are preparing fot another offensive attempt in the next 24 hours. A brigade artillery group of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade is firing disruptive fire at the #Polyanka - #Sukhanovo - #Pyatikhatki line.
▪️ A platoon of the 97th battalion of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade has arrived in Novaya Kamenka and the 96th Battalion of the compound is expected to arrive in the morning hours.
▪️ Composite assault groups of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade are set on full readiness for an offensive near #Sukhanovo and #Polyanka.
▪️ The command of the 17th Tank Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade has moved more than a dozen tanks and armoured fighting vehicles from #Ukrainka to the vicinity of #Novogrigorovka and Novaya Kamenka.
▪️ A mortar company is deployed on the southern outskirts of Novaya Kamenka. Targeting and reconnaissance of the Russian positions is provided by the Bayraktar UAV from the vicinity of #Chervonoye.
