⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦 On Strengthening of the AFU in #Kharkov and #Sumy Directions - Situation until 11:00 on 21 July 2023⚡️
🔹 While there was a slight lull on the most part of the front, in #Sumy region the AFU continued to transfer forces to the border with #Belgorod and #Bryansk regions.
▪️ Recently, a tank column from #Sumy, as well as three self-propelled units, passed through #Trostyanets to the east. At the same time, the forced evacuation of citizens from #Slavgorod, #Grabovskoye, #Popovka in #Sumy region and #Volchansk in #Kharkov region continues.
▪️ The #Kharkov region authorities plan to evacuate about 194 thousand people from #Volchansk district alone. Resettlement points have been organised in the rear districts of the two regions.
▪️ After the attack of Chechen fighters in #Sereda on 15 July, detachments from the Sheikh Mansur battalion took a wait-and-see position in #Volchansk. Also, Chechen mercenaries showed up in #Smyach with D-30 howitzers and 120-mm mortars.
▪️ Also along the border in #Sumy region the number of subscribers with SIM cards of Polish operators increased. It is likely that detachments of Polish mercenaries have been drawn to the Russian territories.
▪️ Belarusian mercenaries from the Kalinovsky Battalion and the "Pogonya" formation have arrived at the junction of #Chernigov and #Sumy regions about a week ago. According to the interception data, a SRG from their formation conducted reconnaissance in the area of #Chernozemny town.
📌 Judging by the concentration of Ukrainian formations and mercenary units, in the coming weeks the AFU is planning to carry out massive attacks on the territory of the #Belgorod and #Bryansk regions. The sorties will probably be coordinated in time with the offensive in other directions.

🪖 Apparently, the leadership of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" ("RVC") decided to repeatedly raid Russian territory in #Belgorod region, as evidenced earlier by their activity in the border areas of #Kharkov region.
🗓 In the early morning of 28 September, a SRG of up to 6 men attempted to cross the Russian State border near the village of #Grabovskoye, #Kharkov region, from the direction of #Staroselye village in #Belgorod region, where it was attacked and pushed back behind the demarcation line.
⚔️ The battle took place near the village of #Terebreno, #Belgorod region. While retreating, the "RVC" nationalists came upon a section of mine barriers, resulting in explosions. The militants suffered casualties. Presumably, 3 wounded and 1 killed. The SRG's withdrawal was covered by an AFU mortar battery. One serviceman of the RF Armed Forces was wounded during the clash.
📌 Apparently, the leaders of the RVC learnt the lessons of ‼️ from previous sabotage and reconnaissance raids and decided to abandon raids by large units. The tactic of employing small groups allows them to ensure the secrecy of throwing enemy forces deep into our country to carry out high profile sabotage. But this time the RVC failed to achieve its goals.

🗓 After yesterday's sorties by SRGs to #Lomakovka and Kamenskoye Khutor, the question of a possible attack by Ukrainian formations in northeastern #Ukraine has arisen again. Unlike the attack on #Shebekino in May, this time the AFU will try to act more broadly.
▪️ This is confirmed by the enemy's activity not only near the #Bryansk region, but also in the #Belgorod region. Units of the so called "Russian Freedom Legion" have arrived at the border in the #Sumy region.
▪️ Similar movements are being observed in #Sumy, where the legendary Russians from the “Russian Volunteer Corps” were transferred. One of the SRGs is already at #Grabovskoye, so a strike should be expected from there as well.
❗️In addition, AFU electronic intelligence units intercepted information about the arrival of Colonel General Lapin in the Pogarsky district of the #Bryansk region. The AFU reconnaissance teams have been tasked with determining his whereabouts and ambushing him.
▪️ The way Ukrainian formations are acting now is very similar to the way they did everything at the end of May to beginning of June. Sorties of PR troops across the border to create an information explosion and divert attention to this direction, while preparations for the main strike are going on in a completely different direction.
