🩸Fighting continues for control of populated areas near #Bakhmut and #Soledar.

♦️#Soledar Area:

▪️ Wagner PMC assault troops have dislodged forces of 128th Mountain Assault Brigade and 61st Mechanized Brigade from three strongholds south of #Soledar and from positions at the Dekonskaya railway station.

▪️ At the same time, the RF Armed Forces established control over the observation post of the 109th Mountain Assault Battalion of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade at the #Soledar - #Veseloye line.

🩸Advancement in #Soledar is complicated by the presence of numerous underground passages used by the AFU for attacks and sabotage in the rear. The defence of #Spornoye is similarly structured.

♦️Northeast of #Bakhmut:

Russian fighters advanced near #Podgorodnoye and squeezed the forces of the AFU's 1st Special Forces Brigade, the 1st and 2nd Composite Battalions of the 17th Tank Brigade and the 60th Mechanized Brigade from positions on the approaches to Krasnaya Gora from the #Bakhmutskoye side.

▪️ On the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut, Wagnerian assault troops repulsed an attack by the AFU's 42nd Battalion 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and 3rd Battalion of the 24th Mechanized Brigade and liberated a platoon stronghold and firing position of the 32nd Regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard.

♦️South and Southeast of Bakhmut:

▪️ Fighting continues in #Opytnoye. And in #Kleshchiyevka, the forces of the 97th Battalion of the 60th Mechanized Brigade of the AFU were knocked out of their positions during the offensive.

▪️ Reinforcements have been moved from #Ivanopol to #Bakhmut, while in Chasov Yar, the 89th Anti Tank Artillery Division of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the AFU has been deployed. In addition, the positions of the newly arrived National Guard forces from the #Sumy Region are established in schools and hospitals in Chasov Yar.

▪️ Separate units of the AFU's 113th Territorial Defence Brigade have been withdrawn from #Bakhmut to #Kharkov region for reconstruction due to losses incurred during the defence of the garrison.

♦️#Toretsk Section:

♦️3. #Ugledar Direction:

➖ The #Novomikhailovka - #Pavlovka line is unchanged.
➖ There are no significant offensive actions in the direction of #Ugledar. The front has taken a positional character there, as well as in the area near Bolshaya (Velikaya) Novosyolka.

♦️4. #Zaporozhye Direction:

➖ After the RF Armed Forces occupied #Dorozhnyanka south of #Gulyaypole, fighting there continues in a positional manner.

♦️In the #Kherson direction, Russian artillery hit the regional centre, #Sadovoye and #Tyahinka. The AFU responded with strikes on #Aleshki and Novaya Kakhovka. The Ukrainian army is also active in the #Kinburn Spit area. So far it is limited to reconnaissance. (Fig. 1)

♦️On the #Donetsk front, Russian forces on the ground are again concentrating their main efforts in the direction of #Novomikhailovka, #Nevelskoye and #Pervomayskoye. There are counterattacks in the city limits of #Maryinka. The RF Armed Forces also attacked from the direction of #Vodyanoye and Opytnoye. AFU artillery hit #Donetsk and #Yasynuvata. (Fig. 2)

♦️The main news on the #Bakhmut area is that the Russian Army has broken through #Soledar's defences and taken control of #Bakhmutskoye. This allowed them to advance towards the centre of #Soledar. Also, the Wagner PMC has managed to advance near #Kleshchiyevka and is attacking from the local #Opytnoye area. And in the northeast, Russian troops have advanced into an important section of the roadway in #Donetsk's #Belogorovka. (Fig. 3)

🪖 According to military correspondents, the "orchestrants" have taken control of #Bakhmutskoye, which allowed our forces to break through #Soledar's defence and start advancing into the centre of the settlement. In addition, the Russian army is advancing in the area of #Kleshchiyevka, as well as from the direction of #Opytnoye. At the moment, fierce fighting is taking place in the area and it is still too early to speak of a capture of the town. #Soledar direction is one of the priority directions for our army and successes there can have a positive impact on other sectors of the front.

⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts over the past Day

♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

The Russian Army has worked off militants in the areas of #Sinkovka, #Ivanovka, #Berestovoye in the #Kharkov region, as well as #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. Additionally, aviation and artillery forces hit two enemy attack groups near #Yampolovka. Three Ukrainian SRGs were also eliminated near Chervonaya Dibrova LPR, #Serebryanka and #Grigorovka DPR.

♦️#Ugledar Direction:

Our artillery, aviation and heavy flamethrower systems worked in the areas of #Konstantinovka, #Novomikhailovka, #Prechistovka of the DPR, as well as in #Dorozhnyanka in the #Zaporozhye region. More than 50 Nazis, one tank, three armoured vehicles and three pick-up trucks were smoked and destroyed.

💥 The Russian Aerospace Forces shot down an Ukrainian Su-25 near the DPR's #Maryevka district. Also, two US AN/TPQ-36 and AN/TPQ-50 radars were destroyed in the areas of #Vasyltsovka in #Kharkov region and Ivano-Daryevka in the DPR.

💡 The US House of Representatives is in crisis. Congress is in its fourth day unable to choose a new speaker. And this is all despite the Republicans having a majority. ♦️In the #Zaporozhye direction, Russian artillery struck #Maloekaterinovka, #Shcherbaki, #Novodanilovka, #Charivnoye, #Gulyaypolskoye, #Zheleznodorozhnoye and #Gulyaypole. The AFU hit #Tokmak. With frosts, there is likely to be movement here. Given the frontline area and the first line of defence, it is difficult to say who benefits from a real winter.

♦️On the #Donetsk front, Russian forces are apparently once again trying to bypass the AFU stronghold at #Maryinka from the south. The attack is in the direction of #Pobeda. There are counterattacks in the city itself. The RF Armed Forces are also attempting to bypass #Avdeyevka from the south. Another offensive on #Pervomayskoye. (Fig. 2)

♦️In the south of #Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC attacks from #Kurdyumovka. There is an operationally important rocket road there. #Kleshchiyevka is another direction of its strike. There is also a rockade there. North of that is an attack on Krasnaya Gora. But this is purely tactical. After the capture of #Bakhmutskoye, the problems of the AFU garrison in #Soledar have increased. But it still has logistics. (Fig. 3)

♦️On the #Lugansk direction, Russian forces again attacked in the direction of #Makeyevka. But, by and large, there is a "grey zone" there. In the north, the RF Armed Forces attempted to advance towards #Stelmakhovka. There were counterattacks in the area of #Novoselovskoye. There is an important section of the H-26 highway. (Fig. 4)

➖ Communications are disrupted between the surviving scattered enemy formations. Presumably the enemy is preparing to withdraw from the city due to difficulty in holding positions.

▪️Northeast of #Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk), Russian units, taking advantage of the terrain, have broken through the defences of the AFU's 17th Tank Brigade and 60th Mechanized Brigade from the direction of #Podgorodnoye and #Bakhmutskoye, opening the way for further offensive on Krasnaya Gora and #Paraskovievka. A sweep of the strongholds adjacent to the villages is ongoing.
➖ Further success of the Russian forces in this area will make it possible to cut the #Seversk - #Bakhmut highway, which will cut off the AFU grouping supplies in #Bakhmut from the north.

▪️ Wagner PMC assault troops are fighting in the central part of #Soledar, advancing rapidly towards the western outskirts towards Mine 7.

▪️ In parallel, an offensive by Russian forces is developing to the northwest of #Soledar towards the Sol railway station and from the Red Mountain and #Bakhmutskoye sides towards #Blagodatnoye.

▪️ During the assault of the #Paraskovievka - #Blagodatnoye line, Russian fighters took control of one platoon, three company strongholds and ten AFU fire positions.

▪️The RF Armed Forces have effectively encircled the #Soledar garrison from the west, south and north, cutting it off from supply. In the night, the AFU partially withdrew troops from the settlement.

♦️#Bahmut:

▪️ Ukrainian formations are attempting to defend the eastern and southeastern outskirts of the town. Information is already circulating within the AFU units about the start of withdrawal of some forces to Chasov Yar and #Konstantinovka under the cover of the remaining units.

▪️The enemy command has engaged not only the Special Forces of Operation and National Guard of Ukraine, but also the 3rd Lugansk Border Guard Detachment of the Eastern Regional Directorate and the 24th Mogilev-Podolsky Border Guard Detachment of the Ukrainian State Border Service from the #Vinnitsa region to deter the advance of the assault units of the Russian forces.

♦️#Bahmut Area to the South:

▪️ The storming of #Opytnoye continues, where the Wagnerians have advanced to the northern outskirts of the suburb. A sweep of adjacent neighbourhoods is currently ongoing.

▪️ In #Kleshchiyevka, the RF Armed Forces have breached the AFU defences and are fighting in the central areas of the village. The Ukrainian command is moving reserves to hold the strategically important area, the loss of which would threaten the AFU positions in Chasov Yar.

♦️#Toretsk Area:

▪️ Units of the DPR's People's Militia took control of a stronghold of the 5th Separate Assault Regiment, destroying three members of Ukrainian militants and capturing two others.

▪️150 pieces of artillery ammunition were supplied to the 5th Separate Assault Regiment's forward positions. At the same time, the unit started to have problems with the functioning of equipment due to lower air temperatures.

🔹 Units of the Wagner PMC have closed the cauldron in the area of the #Soledar outpatient clinic north of the Salt Mine No. 4 and have begun to mop up the city.

▪️The city council administration building and a strategically important hill on Yurchina Mountain are already under the control of the Wagnerians.

▪️The offensive of the assault units continues from the central districts towards the western districts, #Blagodatnoye and the Sol railway station, where some 400 members of the AFU formations, including officers, are hiding.

▪️Simultaneously, Russian paratroopers are advancing from the Krasnaya Gora - #Bakhmutskoye line to #Blagodatnoye and are mopping up the #Paraskovievka and Krasnaya Gora areas north of #Bakhmut.

🔹The AFU defences are currently being lined up along the line #Blagodatnoye - Sol railway station - #Razdolovka. However, this is only a temporary measure as the line lies in the lowlands relative to #Soledar.

➖ It is likely that after the withdrawal of units to #Seversk, the reserve positions will also fall. After the complete liberation of #Soledar and the surrounding area, it will become impossible for the AFU to hold #Bakhmut, which will subsequently force them to abandon #Seversk as well.

➖ The AFU has already begun preparing a new line from #Slavyansk to #Kramatorsk to #Konstantinovka. Artillery and MLRS firing points are being set up in the towns and anti-aircraft missile systems are being deployed.
