⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Starobelsk Direction at 15:00 on 12 Oct 2022⚡️
#Kupyansk Sector:
▪️ The AFU is developing an offensive against Russian positions near the village of #Olshany, where the 14th Mechanized Brigade was able to gain a foothold on the outskirts of the settlement.
▪️ At the same time, the Brigade's 1st Battalion advanced on the #Pershotravnevoye - #Orlyanka line to break through the Russian defences and approach #Olshany from the flank.
▪️ Formations of the AFU's 2nd Battalion of the 14th Brigade and the Kraken Nationalist Battalion managed to temporarily push the Russian troops out of the vicinity of #Kislovka and penetrate from the western edge of the settlement. However, the enemy was driven out of #Kislovka with heavy losses under fire from tank units and artillery of the Russian Forces.
▪️ The Russian Forces regained control of the front line of defence. During the fighting, more than 50 members of Ukrainian formations were eliminated and four tanks, three BMPs and three Kirpi APCs were destroyed.
▪️ On the left flank in the #Tavolzhansk sector, the AFU have taken up a defensive position and are rotating their personnel. The Ukrainian command has withdrawn its subordinate units from the #Dvurechnaya area due to a massive fire attack by Russian Forces.
▪️ An anti-aircraft missile division of the AFU´s 14th Brigade is deployed in #Dvurechnoye to protect against air attacks and to defend against Russian UAVs.
#Lyman - #Svatovo Section:
▪️ 60 men of the AFU's 118th Territorial Defence Brigade were deployed towards #Terny. Unfit personnel were evacuated to #Yampolovka. Several squads of English-speaking mercenaries were moved towards #Dibrovskoye.
▪️ In the areas of #Raygorodka, #Karmazinovka, #Rozovka, #Novolyubovka and #Makeevka, the enemy tried to recapture lost positions and cross the #Zherebets river. Russian soldiers repelled the attack and destroyed three BMPs, two BMPs and several dozen AFU personnel.
▪️ For the time being, Russian Forces managed to regain control of the left bank of the #Zherebets River. The settlement of #Torskoye is in the grey zone.

▪️ Russian servicemen conducted a reconnaissance battle on an AFU position near #Berestovoye. As a result of the battle, units of the 64th Battalion of the AFU's 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade suffered losses and voluntarily abandoned their positions.
The 103rd Brigade's command organized rotation of personnel at the frontlines in #Peschanoye, #Stelmakhovka and west of #Kislovka.
▪️ In the #Tavolzhanka sector, combined formations of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, 40th Separate Rifle Brigade and 114th Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU are conducting a positional defence, expecting an attack by the RF Armed Forces on #Dvurechnoye from the direction of #Tavolzhanka.
▪️ At the same time, there are more and more cases of combat operations in a state of intoxication. Foreign mercenaries arrived in #Sinkovka to maintain discipline.

▪️ The enemy is preparing for an offensive on #Kremennaya. Ukrainian formations are spreading information about the redeployment of some AFU units from the #Soledar 👉 direction to the #Dibrovskoye and #Chervonopovka sections.
▪️ Enemy forces use gaps in the defenses move sabotage and reconnaissance groups unhindered to #Dibrova and #Kremennaya. The strongholds change "from hand to hand in the grey zone". There is no assured control by anyone.
🩸The AFU is planning an offensive against Russian positions. The general attention to #Bakhmut is an excellent opportunity for a covert move of forces to strike at #Starobelsk or #Zaporozhye.
Success in any area will reduce the AFU's reputation losses from the gradual advance of Russian troops and boost army morale.
The situation is complicated by frequent rotations of the RF Armed Forces units near #Kremennaya, of which the AFU is well aware, both radio-electronic and 👉 satellite reconnaissance are operational. In the event of an attack by large AFU forces, there is a breakthrough threat of the Russian grouping's defences.
