⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battle for #Toretsk - Situation by the End of 8 July 2024⚡️

🔴The RFAF are creating conditions for encircling the AFU garrison in the Severnoye Microdistrict:

🔵Russian Troops in the #Toretsk agglomeration made their way to the Severnoye Microdistrict on Yunosti Street from the south and entrenched themselves in five-story buildings, from where a little more than 500 m remained to the Severnaya Mine and its waste heap.
🟡The enemy, understanding the importance of the height, using armoured vehicles, tried in vain to dislodge our fighters from the occupied #Khrushchev.
🟡With the capture of the waste heap, the AFU will be caught in #Severnoye under crossfire between the mine dump and the #Druzhba Microdistrict, in which our formations also continue to advance.

🔵The RFAF are also developing an offensive near #Toretsk in #NyuYork. In the village, the Russian Army entrenched itself in the Petrovskaya Gora Microdistrict.
🟡The AFU, unable to withstand the onslaught, retreated from the outer defensive lines into major residential buildings and a machine-building plant, for which the battle is now underway.
🟡The actions of our troops indicate that they are striking the flanks of the AFU's defensive positions in order to reach #Nelepovka, which lies beyond #NyuYork, and cut off the supply of Ukrainian units holed up in high-rise buildings.

📋🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Two Majors #Summary for the Morning of 14 August 2024; 06:45 (GMT+3)📍

🎯During the night, the enemy's rear regions were hit with a combined strike by a Geranium UAV and rocket weapons. Explosions were reported in #Kiev, #Sumy, #Ternopil and #Khmelnitsky regions, in #Pavlograd in #Dnepropetrovsk region and in the AFU-occupied part of the #DPR (#Pokrovsk).

🔹In the #Kursk region, heavy fighting continues. The AFU is trying to expand their zone of control, and the enemy's destruction of bridges over the Seim River is designed to complicate the logistics of our troops and make it difficult to evacuate the local population. Enemy channels have already published satellite images of the pontoon crossings set up by our troops.

💥In the #Belgorod region, four civilians were wounded during the day as a result of AFU drone strikes and artillery shelling.

🔹In the #Toretsk (#Dzerzhinsk) agglomeration, on the western outskirts of #Zaliznoye (Artemovo) the RFAF occupied the waste heap of the Artem Mine, there is an advance near #NyuYork (#Novgorodskoye), our troops are making their way towards #Nelepovka. In the #DPR a civilian was killed and 13 wounded, including girls born in 2007 and 2008.

🔹In the #Pokrovsk direction,🎬👇 there is fighting for #Grodovka, near #Zavetnoye and #Kamyshevka. East of the Volchya River our troops advanced 1.5 km with a front up to 3.5 km. There is also an advance from #Nikolayevka south of #Marinovka, the enemy notes an increase in the number of strikes by Russian aerial bombs. The penetration into the enemy defence along the front is up to 12 km and creates conditions for covering the enemy units to the south towards the Karlovskoye Reservoir. In this regard, the AFU began withdrawal of troops from the #Ptichye settlement.

🔹In the #SouthDonetsk direction, the RFAF have advanced in recent days in the direction of the #Ugledar-#Konstantinovka Motorway. Our troops continue to advance on the northern outskirts of #Krasnogorovka.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy is pulling reserves to the #Orekhov and #Kamenskoye directions. Zelensky's recent statements about the ZNPP may be an informational preparation for the AFU's rush to this strategic facility.

🔹In the #Kherson direction, our forces continue their combat work on the islands in the Dnieper floodplain, with mutual artillery fire and drone strikes.
