⚡️🇷🇺🇷🇸 The proposal for Serbia to join BRICS has been submitted for consideration by the new parliament

As soon as the new parliamentary convocation was formed, today a proposal for a resolution on Serbia's accession to BRICS was submitted to parliament.

Members of the Socialist Movement, Djordje Komlenski and Boyan Torbica, today submitted a request to include this project in the parliamentary procedure.

Komlenski and Torbica submitted an identical proposal to parliament last August, but the convocation was dissolved in the meantime due to snap elections, so the project was not presented to deputies. Although they are part of the ruling coalition, this proposal was their personal initiative, which was not agreed upon with other government colleagues.

It looks like testing the waters, but such initiatives can only be welcomed. The EU has an alternative - BRICS.

🔹Due to the almost simultaneous entry into the airspace of #Ukraine of missiles from Tu-95, Tu-22M3 and Su-34 aircraft, "Caliber" carriers from the Black Sea, land based installations, as well as the use of "Geraniums", it was possible to effectively overcome the enemy's air defence lines.

🔹Explosions were heard in #Kiev, #Lvov, #Mirgorod, #Poltava region, #Pavlograd, #Dnepropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankovsk and #Kirovograd regions, #Kharkov, #Nikolayev. There were reports of missiles in western #Ukraine. The enemy's monitoring channels even thought of warning #Poland, which makes sense after last year's killing of farmers from a neighboring country by a Ukrainian antiaircraft missile.

🔹Important targets have been hit. For example, in #Nikolayev, the Okean Plant burned, where surface drones are assembled, there is equipment and there is an ammunition depot. 1️⃣ Israeli shelling hit a warehouse in Deir el-Balah and a home in Rafah, both housing displaced Palestinians, killing and wounding many.

2️⃣ Hamas has officially responded “positively” to the framework of a proposal for the latest truce in the Gaza war but Qatar and the US say any deal will take time.

3️⃣ The UN says “everything possible” must be done to avoid a full-scale Israeli attack on Rafah, a city in southern Gaza, which it says could lead to a “large scale” loss of life..

4️⃣ US Secretary of State Blinken arrives in Israel to discuss Hamas’s response to the proposed truce deal and an Israel-Hamas prisoner swap after visits to Egypt and Qatar.

5️⃣ Saudi Arabia’s statement made clear that normalisation with Israel was dependent on the recognition of an independent Palestinian state and an end to Israel’s war on Gaza.

6️⃣ Houthis fighters in Yemen launched six antiship ballistic missiles at vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden over the course of Tuesday, the US Central Command reports, with one Greek-owned bulk carrier sustaining damage but being able to continue its journey.

7️⃣ Jens Laerke, a spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), has told journalists that “indiscriminate bombing of densely populated areas may amount to war crimes”, as the agency expressed concerns about intensifying Israeli operations in Rafah in southern Gaza Strip

At least 27,585 people including more than 11,500 children, have been killed and over 66,978 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The revised death toll from the October 7 attack in Israel stands at 1,139.

In the Kupyansky-Limansky direction, our troops in fierce battles continue to capture the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ support forces; they have advanced through plantings in a number of areas to a depth of more than 1 km, getting closer and closer to Terny and Yampolovka. 1.5 weeks ago we wrote that the Russian Armed Forces had advanced 2.5 km. Total progress = 3.5 km recently

The successes of our troops are again recognized by Ukrainian military propagandists.
➖ “In the Liman direction, heavy fighting continues east of Terny and Yampolovka. The Russians have advanced east of Ternov in the eastern part of the Kruglaya gully and the central part of the Laptev Yar in an area up to 1 km wide to a depth of 420 m,” writes one of the enemy resources, traditionally slightly underestimating our promotion.
➖ “East of Yampolovka, the Russian Armed Forces advanced in the south-eastern part of the Blizhny Yar in an area up to 600 m wide to a depth of up to 450 m.”

Ukrainian militants also comment on the situation:
“The situation is incredibly difficult, the approach to the positions is very difficult, which negatively affects the evacuation, which passes only in the dark and you need to carry the wounded for about 3 km under fire. There are constant enemy attacks, and positions are constantly changing hands.
