📋🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Two Majors #Report for the Morning of 5 December 2023; pub. 07:00📍

🎯 The RF Armed Forces carried out strikes by "Geraniums" at night against the enemy's rear. Explosions were heard in #Lvov region and #Starokonstantinov in #Khmelnitsky region.

▪️ In the #Kherson direction, fighting continued near #Krynki. The enemy tried to evacuate the wounded and resupply personnel across the #Dnieper under the strikes of our UAV operators. The heavy fire from our infantry and artillery had pinned down enemy actions over the past day.

▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy once again unsuccessfully tried to attack near #Verbovoye with infantry supported by one tank. At #Rabotino our troops recaptured several enemy strongholds. Mutual artillery shelling continues.

▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, the AFU is transferring reserves to the area of the industrial zone in the south recently liberated by our troops. The AFU are trying to use aviation and are increasing the use of FPV drones. In the same area, our troops hit the cottage village of "#Vinogradniki" with 2S4 Tulpan - 240-mm self-propelled mortars of special power. On the northern ledge of the front the RF Armed Forces are advancing in #Stepovoye, there is fighting in the area of the Coke Plant.

▪️ South of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) - fighting near #Kleshcheyevka and #Andreyevka. The RF Armed Forces are advancing west of the city in the direction of #Khromovo - #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye).

▪️ At the #Torskoye ledge of the front, they report the advance of our troops up to 1 km.

▪️ In the #Kupyansk direction, our troops are advancing in #Sinkovka. The northern outskirts are controlled by the Russian Army. To the south our troops are also active, forcing the enemy to expend reserves.

💥 During the night our air defence destroyed and suppressed 41 Ukrainian drones over #Crimea and the Sea of Azov. The enemy tried to hit air defence systems and the #Feodosiya Oil Storage Facility. Shelling of the #Belgorod region continues. Compared to the previous day, the enemy intensified shelling of civilians in the #DPR: 230 shells were fired, 7 people were wounded, #Gorlovka, Yasinovatsky district and #Donetsk were under fire.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🚀 Drone Raid on #Crimea⚡️

🗓 After midnight, Ukrainian formations launched several groups of drones from the vicinity of #Zaporozhye towards #Crimea, whose route skirted the airspace of the #Kherson and #Zaporozhye regions.

▪️ The first 2 drones were shot down over #Genichesk, while the rest headed towards #Kerch and #Feodosiya via the Sea of Azov. 3 more UAVs were shot down near #Bagerovo. Judging by the direction, the target was the positions of the 31st Division near #Kerch, photos of which appeared on the Net for a couple of days.

▪️ Also, 11 drones were shot down and suppressed on the approach to #Feodosiya, and two more were shot down right near the oil terminal. Apparently, the AFU intended to hit the oil depot and power station in the city.

▪️ And 17 others were hit near Cape #Chauda - the drones were manoeuvring, trying to enter Russian positions from the sea. A total of 35 UAVs were destroyed, of which 15 were shot down by air defences, 13 were suppressed by electronic warfare, and 7 were hit by small arms fire.

🔹 The attack by Ukrainian formations took place immediately after a slight improvement in weather conditions. An RQ-4B UAV was in the air and departed for Romanian airspace after the 31st Air Force and Air Defence Division began operations.

❗️As a rule, such drone raids are intended to check and evaluate the work of the 31st Air Force and Air Defence Division in the east of the peninsula. And afterwards, if we take into account previous attempts, there is a missile attack.

📌 Taking this into account, in the next few days, under favourable conditions, attempts to strike #Crimea are quite possible. Especially since the AFU has means of defeat. Just the other day, a batch of Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles was delivered to #Starokonstantinov.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎯 Intensification of Strikes by the AFU on Russian Territories⚡️

🗓 After a fairly significant break, Ukrainian formations expectedly resumed attacks on Russian territories. And if the shelling of the border areas did not actually stop, then drone raids and missile attacks inland were not observed for a long time.

▪️ On the night of 16 December, simultaneously with an attempt to attack #Kursk, the AFU launched 28 drones in the direction of #Crimea. The forces of the 31st Air Force and Air Defence Divisions hit all the drones, , and none of them reached the target.

❗️Based on the geography of their defeat, we can conclude where the enemy was aiming. Russian aviation airfields, as well as energy facilities near #Simferopol and #Feodosiya.

🔹And last night the AFU attacked the #Rostov and #Volgograd regions. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in total, Ukrainian formations launched 35 drones, nine of which were 👉 at the airfield in #Morozovsk.

▪️ As in the case of #Crimea, the enemy tried to hit the airfield of the Russian Aerospace Forces. At the same time, transponders on the drones were turned off to reduce the likelihood of their detection by air defence systems.

❗️The renewed raids in the depths evoke some associations with last year. Then, on the eve of the New Year, the AFU also increased the intensity of drone attacks. And the aim was to probe weaknesses and gaps in the defence, which in principle we are seeing now.

📌 Given the long pause, Ukrainian formations have probably accumulated weapons of destruction, ranging from drones to missile weapons, including Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles and tactical ATACMS.

🔥 During the night, the port of #Feodosiya was attacked by AFU air weapons. There was a powerful explosion, enemy channels claiming that our ship was hit. The nearest houses were evacuated, windows were blown out by the blast wave.

🎯 The RF Armed Forces carried out strikes by "Geraniums" on Krivoy Rog, #Nikolayev and #Odessa in the dark.

▪️ In the #Kherson direction, fighting continues. The enemy estimates that the use of our aircraft is limited after the recent tragedy. The sky above #Krynki is behind the enemy. With the help of transponders, the enemy is keeping a large number of attack UAVs and drone bombers in the air and is launching artillery strikes on our coast. Under the conditions of the AFU's electronic warfare systems, our communications leave much to be desired, limiting the level of cooperation between units of the RF Armed Forces.

▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, an enemy attack has been repelled in the area of #Rabotino. There are counter battles at the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line.

▪️ South of #Maryinka there are heavy battles for #Novomikhaylovka, the settlement is under constant strikes of our aviation and artillery. They reported on the actions of our assault units on the outskirts.

▪️ In the #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) front sector north of #Khromovo, the enemy counterattacked, without success. Our troops have tactical successes near #Bogdanovka. Fighting continues near #Kleshcheyevka.

▪️ In the #Serebryanskoye forestry, yesterday morning, the RF Armed Forces launched an offensive with large forces. In bloody battles, after powerful artillery preparation, it was possible to break through the enemy's defences at the forefront and begin to level the front.

💥 In the #Belgorod region, shelling of border areas continues. In #Donetsk (#DPR), two civilians were killed by Nazi shelling, and three were injured.

💥 The AFU launched a missile strike on #Feodosiya, which damaged the large landing ship Novocherkassk. The enemy used aircraft to strike, but Russian air defences destroyed two Ukrainian Su-24s from which the missiles were launched. Six buildings in the city were damaged, one person was killed and two were wounded. Such attacks by 404 have lately been purely media in nature, because the AFU cannot often use expensive weapons supplied by the West. The consequences of a single action of the Kiev Regime will soon be forgotten, but there is no way to hide from objective reality.

⚔️ Situation on the Fronts over the past Day

🔹#Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk) Direction:

▪️ The Russian army advanced from the side of #Artyomovskoye (#Khromovo). There is fighting in #Kleshcheyevka, most of the village is in the grey zone. In addition, our fighters attacked near #Andreyevka.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ The Novocherkassk large landing ship was damaged in #Feodosiya overnight as a result of an AFU strike, the Russian Defence Ministry has said. Two Ukrainian Su-24s launching missiles were destroyed.

▪️ Russian troops repelled 10 attacks by the AFU in different directions overnight, with enemy losses totalling up to 675 militants and three tanks.

▪️ The RF Armed Forces have fulfilled the main goal for the outgoing year - to thwart the loudly announced counteroffensive of the AFU by Kiev and the West, Shoygu said.

▪️ The Russian army is constantly taking more favourable positions and expanding controlled territories in all directions, going towards achieving the goals of the special operation, Shoygu said.

▪️ The Ukrainian cabinet has submitted a bill on mobilisation to the Verkhovna Rada. It says, in particular, that group III invalids and former Rada deputies will lose their deferment from conscription.

▪️ The order for delivery of Su-57 fifth-generation fighters in 2023 has doubled, it has been fully fulfilled, the UAC said.

▪️ The first group of Ukrainian pilots has completed basic training to fly F-16s in Britain, the British government said.

🔻#Kherson Direction:
🟡In the #Kherson Sector, at #Antonovsky Bridge, there are still AFU groups.
🟡In the #Tyaginka Sector, the AFU maintains a presence in #Krynki and at Cossack Camps. Their drones are still active.
📌 So far, our team has not been able to completely knock out the enemy.

🔻#Zaporozhye Direction:
🟡In the #Orekhov Section, the AFU are actively pulling up reserves for #Rabotino. Swarms of Ukrainian FPV drones are also flying there. The AFU is conducting remote mining, artillery is not silent. Our drone operators have already stopped a AFU counterattack. Our army, in turn, continues to move carefully along the flanks. Our Aerospace Forces are using RBK-500 cluster munitions. The impact of such a bomb turned the landing at #Novoprokopovka, where the AFU were hiding, into a lunar landscape. Admittedly, ours have not used such ammunition for a long time. But the transfer and active use of Western cassettes by the AFU left no choice.

🔻#SouthDonetsk Direction:
🟡On the #Vremyevka Ledge, our forces hit a number of AFU positions in the plantings near #Urozhaynoye with an accurate strike by FABs. Now this is grey zone.
🟡In the #Maryinka Sector, ours troops made serious progress in #Georgiyevka in the centre of the village behind the Maryinsky Dam by almost 1 km, reaching the outskirts of the St. George Ponds. There is also progress in #Novomikhailovka, fierce battles are ongoing.

🟡In the #Orlovka Sector, the AFU are still holding back our offensive. And this is not only the merit of the large reserves pulled up to the villages almost taken by ours, but also a number of our own miscalculations. The enemy publishes footage of our attack in #Berdychi, when the troops land in the village virtually without fire support and immediately fall under enemy fire. The price of underestimating the enemy is the lives of our military.

🔻#Bakhmut Direction:
🟡In the #ChasovYar Sector, the fighting for the heights north of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) continues unabated. The village itself is grey zone. The AFU regularly counterattacks, but ours are pushing them to the outskirts. Strikes on the AFU reserves in Chasov Yar, #Grigorovka and #Bogdanovka are also continuing.

🔻#Svatovo Direction:
🟡In the #Seversk Sector, our forces expanded the control zone south of the water facility industrial zone, approached the "White Mountain", the AFU fortified area at the chalk quarry (at #Belogorovka, I assume). Fierce fighting is ongoing, and at times the enemy counterattacks, trying to penetrate the industrial zone.
🟡In the #Liman Sector, info about the entry of our groups into #Terny is ahead of events. Our military is fighting in the beams a few km from the village. The fighting is heavy and so far without significant success.
🟡In the #Kupyansk Sector, an AFU speaker said that our forces have reduced the activity of attacks. On the ground it is indeed less active, but our Aerospace Forces are destroying pontoon crossings across #Oskol, hitting clusters and headquarters in the area. So our army has the initiative, they simply act smartly and, perhaps, prepare for attacks

☠️ The AFU attack last night by 38 drones on the Crimean #Feodosiya, was repelled by our the air defence. After that, #NATO intelligence was actively working on the Black Sea. So after this massive drone raid on #Crimea, missile attacks are not excluded.

⚓️ A new loss for the Black Sea Fleet - at night on the roadstead of #Feodosiya, the Project 22160 patrol ship "Sergey Kotov" was attacked by unmanned enemy boats.

🔹 The Sergey Kotov was taken out the fourth time. The ship fought off enemy drones three times last year, destroying them on approach with fire from standard weapons.

🔹 The crew tried to repel the attack this time too, but to no avail. According to some reports, the crew abandoned the sunken ship. Losses are being clarified.
