🔴 The Wagner PMC is developing an offensive from the #Soledar direction. Yesterday #Nikolayevka was liberated, 11km to the outskirts of #Seversk.
▪️ There are reports that 13km south of #Kremennaya our troops occupied #Belogorovka in the LPR's Popasnya district.
▪️ In the #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) direction, 7 km north of the city, the enemy attempted to pull up reserves in the area of Krasnaya Gora. Enemy reinforcements are destroyed on approach.
➖ There is heavy fighting in #Artyomovsk itself.
➖ South of the city, our forces are advancing towards the Chasov Yar - #Artyomovsk road, which is 2 km away.
▪️Yesterday data was received about the destruction of another enemy SRG in #Kherson direction near Kakhovskaya HPP.
🔵 AFU tried to shell Valuysky and Krasnogvardeysky districts of #Belgorod region, our air defense was working.

🔴 The RF Armed Forces launched Geranium UAV strikes against targets in #Kiev, #Zaporozhye, #Kharkov and #Dnepropetrovsk regions in the evening. Kamikaze drones were also spotted in #Sumy and #Poltava regions.
▪️ The Wagner PMC has occupied 40% of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), the city is in an operational encirclement, with between 3,000 and 12,000 people remaining in the pincers, war correspondents report. The enemy is urgently trying to withdraw units under artillery fire from our artillery and aviation.
➖ The AFU is preparing defence nodes in #Konstantinovka, Chasov Yar, #Slavyansk and #Kramatorsk.
▪️ The RF Armed Forces are conducting an offensive on #Avdeyevka, with up to 55 assault actions per day in this sector. They also try to encircle the enemy fortified area.

According to Azerbaijani information the fighting was carried out with the use of mortars.

🔴 From #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), several enemy APC-4 "Bucephalus" are reported destroyed during the day and attack aviation is engaged to hit the enemy in the western part of the city. On the flanks, the offensive of the Wagner PMC assault squads is supported by fire from airborne units. It is reported that the enemy is trying to undermine high rise buildings while retreating.
▪️ In the #Kherson direction, air strikes were carried out at night on AFU positions near #Kherson and #Berislav. An ammunition depot in #Berislav has been destroyed. The enemy is rebuilding roads in the rear and surreptitiously trying to build up ammunition supplies using grain trucks.
🔵 In the #Zaporozhye direction to the east of #Gulyaypole, the enemy is trying to clear narrow sections of the frontline by dropping ammunition blindly from drones.

🔴 Yesterday, during a Russian Kamikaze UAV raid on #Kiev, an enemy Bayraktar TB2 was shot down by an Ukrainian air defence missile.
▪️ Heavy fighting continues in the #Artyomovsk sector, with Prigozhin reporting a shortage of artillery ammunition to support the advancing attackers, resulting in multiples of casualties on our side.
🔵 In the #Ugledar section, the enemy launched an attack to occupy our strongholds near #Nikolskoye. As a result of the battle the enemy suffered losses and withdrew, a massive artillery strike was launched against the places of concentration of retreating enemy troops.
▪️ In the #Bryansk region, the AFU struck the village of Polevye Novoselki in the Suzemsky district. A civilian's leg was torn off. Several houses were damaged and power supply was disrupted.
▪️ In #Sevastopol our air defence system shot down a UAV near #Belbek airfield yesterday around 19:00.
▪️ In the LPR, the localities of #Alchevsk and #Rubezhnoye, were shelled from HIMARS MLRSs.

➖ Targets in #Kherson region (#Berislav) were hit by guided aerial bombs. The enemy assesses the raid as a complex attack and reports the use of Kalibers and Daggers by our forces.
➖ In #Kiev, presumably in the Svyatoshinsky district, the strike struck a Ukrainian air defence system location.
▪️ In the #Artyomovsk sector, the Wagner PMC is developing an offensive against the remnants of the Ukrainian garrison on the western outskirts of the city in the high rise development area. By the evening of 16 May 2023, 37 heights out of 48 had been taken.
🔵 In the #Bryansk region an air defence system in #Klintsy shot down a Ukrainian aircraft-type UAV. There were no casualties.

▪️ In the #Kherson region, enemy depots and boats are being destroyed. A massive strike was launched against the airfield in #Chernobayevka (#Kherson), at night our troops hit the field depots on the enemy's bank of the #Dnieper River with gun artillery.

At night the enemy shelled our positions against the #Orekhov section of the front particularly intensively. In addition, they continue to hit civilians in the region. The settlement of #Pologi was shelled.
▪️ The #Belgorod region is under round-the-clock shelling by the AFU. There are civilian casualties. The shelling of #Shebekino continued overnight and into the morning. Air defence was working over #Belgorod. The governor of #Belgorod Region has asked the governors of #Voronezh, #Tomsk, #Penza, #Kaluga and #Yaroslavl regions, as well as #Stavropol Territory and the Republics of #Crimea and North Ossetia-Alania, to help with the accommodation of children evacuated from the border areas.
➖ The residents of the region are appealing to the federal centre to push back the frontline and stop trying to keep quiet on television about the true state of affairs in the region.
▪️On the DPR the enemy fired 228 rounds of ammunition. #Gorlovka, #Golmovsky, #Zaytsevo, #Yasinovataya, #Donetsk, #Makeyevka, #Staromikhaylovka and #Vladymirovka districts came under fire.
