📋🇷🇺🇺🇦🔎 Two Majors Assessment on AFU's #Kherson Landings📍
📜 The activity of the AFU on the #Kherson section of the front is related to an attempt to keep our forces here from being redeployed to more important directions
▪️ The enemy is pursuing propaganda purposes here (the clearly mounted video from the GUR proves it, the "zrada" was passed off as "peremoga") and is trying to indirectly influence the decision-making of the top military leadership of the Russian Armed Forces. After the breakthrough of our defenses in October 2022 in the northeast of the #Kherson region, no commander would give the go-ahead to move forces from his area of responsibility in the face of constant demonstrative SRG landings.
▪️ Suggestions that the AFU is conducting "reconnaissance in combat" against the background of constant use by the enemy of up-to-date satellite data, an extensive network of agents and aerial reconnaissance also do not stand up to criticism.
▪️ Possible plans of the enemy to seize a bridgehead on our bank of the #Dnepr are also questionable. The practice of fighting on the small river #Ingulets in the summer and autumn of 2022 showed that our front moved under the onslaught of the enemy south of the village of Davydov Brod only after the flank of the deterrent grouping of the Russian Army was bare, and the units had not yet received reinforcements and ammunition. On the #Dnepr River, such a manoeuvre by the AFU would require a single engagement of thousands of troops and serious artillery support.
▪️ However, the AFU has reportedly moved its main forces to other directions following the abandonment of #Kherson by the RF Armed Forces. The enemy shore is defended by the units of the Territorial Defence, Separate Reconnaissance Battalions, a few groups of saboteurs - GUR and Forces of Special Operation.
📌 Thus, we should expect constant landings of enemy SRGs in the area with simultaneous information support. The #Dnepr River floodplain and the islands will be in the "grey zone", where the warring parties will try to establish themselves in the form of observation posts and places of long-term service. Artillery duels will continue: the enemy has American counter-battery radars and high-precision artillery. Strikes by our aircraft are hampered by enemy air defences.

▪️ Russian units have destroyed up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, an Akatsiya self-propelled vehicle and a US-made M777 artillery gunship in the #Kherson direction overnight, MoD said;
▪️ Russian servicemen in the #SouthDonetsk and #Zaporozhye directions have destroyed up to 60 Ukrainian servicemen;
▪️ The RF Armed Forces' "Western" grouping of troops in the #Kupyansk direction has destroyed over 70 Ukrainian servicemen, five vehicles, as well as a Ukrainian ammunition depot overnight;

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🚫 On the Introduction of Restrictions on Media Work in the South of #Ukraine⚡️
A couple of days ago, the Operational Command "South" of the AFU announced the introduction of restrictions on the activities of media personnel in the command's area of responsibility in #Odessa, #Nikolayev, #Kherson and #Dnepropetrovsk regions.
Under the new requirements, journalists and reporters have been assigned three zones: a "red" zone where media presence is strictly forbidden, a "yellow" zone where media personnel are allowed to work in the presence of a specially authorised officer and a "green" zone with no restrictions.
🔹Why is this done?
The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly tried to restrict the work of foreign media, especially in the area of hostilities or within the radius of possible missile and drone strikes. Ukrainian propaganda is fundamentally based on falsified data and disinformation.
The presence of staff from Western news agencies - or rather media not under the control of the Ukrainian authorities - is a big problem for Ukrainian infobots. Western journalists could easily publish something that would completely smash propaganda built on lies.
🔹Which areas have been restricted for media work?
🔴 "Red Zone":
Entirely banned from visiting military bases, firing ranges, ports and airfields, as well as other critical infrastructure. Also, journalists are not allowed to work in areas bordering #Transnistria.
In #Nikolayev and #Kherson regions, reporters are not allowed to work in #Pravdino, Posad-Pokrovskoye, #Kiselevka, #Novopetrovka, #Lyubomirovka, #Snigirevka, Davydov Brod, Belaya Krinitsa and #Vysokopolye. In these localities, training activities for the mobilized are taking place, among other things.
Media workers are also prohibited from approaching the banks of the #Dnieper-Bug estuary, the #Ingulets River and the #Kakhovka Reservoir, where SRGs operate on boats, and there is active training of assault groups on forcing water obstacles.
🟡 "Yellow Zone":
Accompanied by authorised representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, journalists and reporters are able to work in several settlements in the #Nikolayev and #Dnepropetrovsk regions. Some of them are also equipped with training grounds for the mobilized. Filming along the Black Sea coast is possible with restrictions.
📌 Such Restrictions are perfectly logical in wartime conditions, so the measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities are not surprising. However, the creation of "red zones" is a double-edged sword, as it directly points out important positions and facilities to watch out for.
Since members of the media are banned from going there, it means that there is something of interest in the area, something that ordinary citizens should not see, much less be leaked to the media.
The Alibey Nature Reserve south of #Odessa on the Black Sea coast is partially included in the red zone. Near the conservation area there is a testing ground of "Tuzla", where the "Grom-2" missile defence system is tested). At present four missile launchers are deployed near #Tuzla.
In addition, the activities of journalists near the border with #Transnistria are completely banned. This is due to the concentration of several hundred people and dozens of weapons near the PMR, which is constantly denied by Kiev. There are also dozens of foreign mercenaries operating in the border villages.
And the establishment of the "red zone" along the #Kakhovka reservoir, the #Dnieper and the Dnieper-Bug estuary is mostly related to preparations for an AFU counterattack and the probable forcing (https://t.me/rybar/44982) of the water barrier to divert the attention of Russian troops from the main strike.

🗓 In the morning, Ukrainian SRGs in three boats again attempted to land on #Antonovsky Island, moving from the #Koshevoy River, but were detected by Russian fighters.
🔥 As a result of dense MLRS fire, one boat with six people on board was destroyed and the other two returned back to #Kherson without reaching their destination.
▪️ There were no significant changes in the other sections. The AFU has increased the intensity of shelling on Russian positions. Just a week ago there were 25-30 attacks in average, now the number has exceeded 40-45.
▪️ And they are using both barrel and rocket artillery, MLRS and mortars, as well as copters with VOGs for strikes. Guidance is provided by Bayraktar UAVs and counterbattery radars.
▪️ Tactical aviation aircraft also continue to fly from the #Voznesensk airfields, shelling areas near the rear. Su-24Ms from the #Starokonstantinov airfield equipped with Storm Shadow missiles are being used for deep strikes.
▪️ The ASPIDE anti-aircraft missile system and air target detection radar has been moved to #Muzykovka to cover them and catch Russian aircraft.
📌 And at a distance from the line of contact, US instructors are training AFU assault groups in #Galaganovka and #Limantsy. On the #Ingulets River, Ukrainian squads train to force water barriers, probably as part of a future offensive operation.

🔹In the morning, Ukrainian sabotage groups in three boats attempted to land on #Borshchevoy Island south of #Veletenskoye. As a result of dense artillery fire, one boat was destroyed with five people on it, and the other two departed back.
▪️ This is not the first attempt to land on islands in the #Dnieper basin. Yesterday, a similar attempt was at Alyoshkinsky Island, where a watercraft was destroyed at the mouth of the #Ingulets River.
🔹Also, Russian units repelled an attack by the 126th Territorial Defence Brigade near #Pereyaslavsky Island. At the same time, the AFU landed two groups on Melky Island southeast of #Kherson to set up an observation post.
▪️ The 11th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard is expected to be transferred from #Ochakov to the coastal part of the #Dnieper.

🔹In the morning, Ukrainian sabotage groups in three boats attempted to land on #Borshchevoy Island south of #Veletenskoye. As a result of dense artillery fire, one boat was destroyed with five people on it, and the other two departed back.
▪️ This is not the first attempt to land on islands in the #Dnieper basin. Yesterday, a similar attempt was at Alyoshkinsky Island, where a watercraft was destroyed at the mouth of the #Ingulets River.

🗓 For the last few days, the situation has remained the same. Marines from the Katran Strike Group are still holding the central part of #Krynki.
▪️ Despite regular fire from the Russian forces, Ukrainian formations have established a supply line via Frolova Island by equipping two small crossings over the #Konka River.
▪️ Due to this, as well as constant fire cover by artillery from the right bank and mortar units from the island area, the Ukrainian command regularly rotates and replenishes supplies.
▪️ During the night, fresh assault groups were transferred to #Krynki and took up positions in the forest area across the road. The units are now in the same positions, awaiting the arrival of reinforcements. At the same time, another assault unit is in reserve.
🔹 To the west on #Alyoshkin Island, there are no significant changes. The Ukrainian Navy Marines have been entrenched in the area of the large and small railway bridges for several weeks now and are holding positions there.
▪️ At night, taking advantage of bad weather conditions, several assault groups on two boats were sent from the island to #Sadovoye, #Ponyatovka and #Ingulets to rest. They were replaced by squadsof the 35th Separate Marines Brigade.
▪️ Along the right bank of the #Dnieper, enemy artillery is still active, and several MANPADS units have been deployed in the #Krynki section to cover the Marines from air strikes.
