📋🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Two Majors #Summary Overview for the Morning of 21 July 2024; 07:26 (GMT+3)📍

🗓 The past week has strengthened the confidence of domestic and foreign politicians in Trump's success in the US elections this autumn, and consequently, the press and experts have somehow started predicting possible negotiations on the Ukrainian issue even more strongly. Zelensky has fallen into another trap, as earlier he criticised Trump and professed his previously received instructions about the war to the last Ukrainian, and now he is forced to wriggle and look for approaches to the future #US government, which may limit the supply of weapons.

🔹Nevertheless, it's not the first time questions about ‘negotiations’ have come up, experts are beating the drum for the 3rd year, and the war continues. Besides, Trump is an US president, with limited powers by the same Congress, and the US military-industrial complex, which profits enormously from the #Ukraine war (including corrupt ones), is not i interested in the end of combat in any case. Therefore, it seems extremely dangerous to share the skin of Trump, who has not been elected yet. Moreover, everyone has seen what the ‘Minsk agreements’ led to on the LoC in #Donbass from 2014 to 2022. Now the front has stretched more than a thousand kn, and the AFU have gained combat experience and new weapons, while the goals of denazification and demilitarisation have been fulfilled with precision and to the contrary.

🔹In anticipation of a possible change of power in the #US and possible de-escalation, Kiev is stepping up the pace of draconian mobilisation, involving the National Police and other institutions such as the banking system. The task is very clear: to recruit cannon fodder for the ‘counteroffensive 2.0’ and to create a media picture. At the same time, the Kiev authorities themselves say that they will compensate for the lack of weapons with people. Arson attacks on TCC and AFU vehicles are becoming a regular occurrence, but there is no systematic counteraction to the Nazis in #Ukraine.

⚔️On the front, the RFAF are retaining the initiative, and in a number of directions our troops are slowly but inevitably advancing with heavy fighting. Thus, in the #Toretsk area, there is an advance from the south and east. In the #Avdeyevka direction, the RFAF are advancing with a broad front, gnawing away at enemy settlements. At #ChasovYar, battles on the flanks for access to the canal, which has become a defence line for the AFU. In the #Seversk sector, #IvanoDaryevka was taken by a fast rush. From other areas one can often see information about advances of 100 m, which actually means stability of the front and absence of changes. Nevertheless, the RFAF are solving the long-term task of depleting the AFU. The changed technological way of war does not allow to fully realise the prevalence of the RFAF in heavy weapons, the troops are asking for EW systems, tactical level UAVs, thermal imaging sights, and cars.

💥Strikes on Russian territory continue. The enemy's UAV targets are military airfields, oil refineries, which cannot be protected in any way, and legal mechanisms for this purpose are only beginning to be discussed by the relevant authorities.

💥The #Belgorod residents suffer greatly from the daily AFU shelling. In conditions where the plan to create a buffer zone has not been implemented, and shelling and UAV strikes have become more frequent, the current measures to support local residents (as well as those evacuated to the rear) are heavily criticised by the residents. The measures taken by the regional authorities are often assessed as insufficient, although the federal centre allocates resources for this purpose. This applies both to the resettlement of residents and measures to support their evacuation.

💥In #Kursk region, AFU strikes are also of a daily nature. The region's acting governor met with Finance Minister Siluanov and said that they were ‘resettling residents of border areas’.
