🗓 In the morning, Russian troops after artillery preparation went into counterattack near #Kupyansk. Fighters of the RF Armed Forces are currently attacking enemy positions in the direction of #Sinkovka, while aviation and artillery are striking rear positions.

▪️ The Russian Army is putting special emphasis on the transport interchange to #Kupyansk. Several Telegram channels report strikes on the #Shevchenkovo - #Kupyansk motorway.

▪️ This step is quite logical from the point of view of possible replenishment of the AFU grouping in #Kupyansk. Recently, a formation of foreign mercenaries was transferred to #Shevchenkovo from #Kharkov for the defence of the city.

▪️ Also in the north near the borders with #Belgorod region there is a tank battalion of the 3rd Separate Tank Brigade (19 T-72 tanks and one IFV-1KSh1) and a self-propelled division (three "Akatsiya" SAU) in readiness to be sent to #Kupyansk.

📌 Nevertheless, the activation of Russian military personnel against the background of simultaneous counterattacks in the #Vremyevka and #Svatovo sectors is a favourable sign indicating that the command of the RF Armed Forces does not intend to freeze the front at the current borders.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦☕️ About the Russian Strike on a Café in the #Groza Village⚡️

🗓 A couple of days ago, Russian troops launched a strike from the Iskander operational-tactical complex on a local cafe in the village of #Groza, #Kharkov region.

💬 Ukrainian authorities immediately stated that at the time of the hit the cafe was hosting a wake, where only local residents were allegedly gathered. As a result, the death toll totalled 52 people.

❗️However, the administration forgot to mention that in the morning in the village of #Groza, the funeral of a high ranking nationalist (reportedly from Aydar) was taking place. And not the last of his brothers came to say goodbye to him.

🔹 #Groza is located not far from #Shevchenkovo, where just yesterday another batch of mercenaries arrived to be sent near #Kupyansk. The settlement is practically located in the frontline zone, and it is quite logical for AFU militants to live there.

📌 Let's just summarise that, as in the case of hospitals and 👉 clinics where wounded members of the AFU are being treated, any gathering of the enemy is a legitimate target in conditions of active hostilities.

⚡️Ukraine should think about a way to freeze the conflict, The Washington Post reports.

David Ignatius, an authoritative U.S. political commentator, publishes a very noteworthy article for The Washington Post. The author reflects on public opinion in Ukraine and the choice facing Ukrainians.

Ignatius noted that as the AFU fails and the ultimate Ukrainian "counterfail", more and more Ukrainians are beginning to question the need to continue the conflict to "victory". The author spoke to several Ukrainian officials, some of whom stated that Kiev does not have the capacity to fight "as long as it takes" and prolonging the conflict has already resulted in a huge number of casualties. Some of the Ukrainian officials noted that the AFU's ability to fight is entirely dependent on US support, whose resolve to continue supporting Kiev is rapidly waning.

Ignatius then smoothly leads the reader to the necessary conclusion: "If Ukraine seriously questions whether it can survive a fight that might take many years, then it needs to think about a way to freeze this conflict".

▪️ The RF Armed Forces carried out strikes at night with rocket weapons and "Geranium" UAVs against facilities in #Ilyichevsk, #Odessa and #Mirgorod in the #Poltava region

▪️ North of #Verbovoye on the #Zaporozhye front, artillery fire destroyed a group of enemy infantry. The enemy in the area from #Verbovoye to #Rabotino is also constantly firing at our positions from all types of weapons available to him, yesterday morning it was reported about the attempts of the AFU to continue "meat assaults" on #Novoprokopovka.

▪️ In the #Kherson direction, the forces of the AFU Navy Marine Corps are being pulled to the coastline. The enemy's task is to occupy bridgeheads on islands in the #Dnieper River floodplain and to build pontoon crossings as soon as possible, transferring forces along the dried up channels of the river. To this end, the AFU engineering units are conducting reconnaissance of the terrain. Heavy weapons are constantly striking at the places of enemy accumulation and reconnaissance groups. Also yesterday, small groups of the enemy were recorded on the positions of the AFU near the #Antonovsky Bridge. Earlier, the RF Armed Forces also carried out heavy strikes with TOS and aerial bombs on the area.

▪️ South of #Artyomovsk, the situation is difficult for our units in certain parts of the front near #Kleshcheyevka. There are problems with communications, the replenishment of units and the timely transmission of reports on the real situation. Our neighbouring units, on the contrary, report that they are holding firmly to the defence in their areas, while suffering with paper reports for ammunition spent on the meat waves of the advancing AFUshnikov.

▪️ In the #Kupyansk direction, our troops resumed active offensive operations near #Sinkovka, with long range weapons strikes on the rear areas of the AFU positioning and warehouses.

▪️ During the night, #Sevastopol again repelled a raid by enemy UAVs, one of which was destroyed 10 km from the city over the Black Sea. At five in the morning, an aeroplane-type drone was destroyed over the Istrinsky urban district of the #Moscow region. Yesterday morning, a helicopter of the Black Sea Fleet naval aviation destroyed an enemy Mult Purpose Assault Craft in the Black Sea. A UAV was also shot down over the #Kursk region. In the #DPR, a civilian was wounded by Nazi shelling.
