⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #SouthDonetsk Direction until 12:00 on 22 December 2023⚡️
🔹 Russian troops have continued to advance in recent days in the triangle #Pobeda - "Zverinets" fortification - #Novomikhaylovka. As a result of a successful combined attack of the 20th Motorised Rifle Division, a serious success was achieved:
📌 "Zverinets" (#Menagerie) came under the control of the RF Armed Forces.
▪️ The struggle for the stronghold lasted for many months, and control changed hands. In the summer, Russian fighters managed to occupy it, but withdrew due to lack of support and advances from the south and north.
▪️ Now, thanks to the liberation of #Maryinka and successes in the landings to the north, the enemy has been knocked out of the fortification. Moreover, the RF Armed Forces were able to advance further along the road, approaching #Novomikhaylovka from the north.
❗️The most important thing in this situation is that the RF Armed Forces were able to almost completely take over the hills between #Novomikhaylovka and #Maryinka, which will facilitate the onslaught on #Pobeda and #Novomikhaylovka.
▪️ At the same time, in #Novomikhaylovka itself, squads of the 68th AC continue the assault on the southern outskirts of the village. The fighting is taking place in the industrial zone and in the area of the cemetery and farm.
▪️ And to the south, Russian fighters have managed to occupy a section of terrain along the pumping station, increasing the increasing the coverage area of #Novomikhaylovka.

🔹Russian troops attacked Ukrainian infrastructure and military facilities several times during the day. Explosions were reported in #Odessa, #Nikolayev, #Khmelnitsky and #Kiev regions. In addition, last night the RF Armed Forces interrupted a meeting of the Ukrainian command with Western instructors in #Mirnograd with a precision hit.
🔹Ukrainian formations were not inactive either and once again tried to attack the rear regions of the Russian Federation. Russian air defences intercepted several drones in the #Bryansk, #Kaluga and #Moscow regions. At the moment, the AFU's raids are not massive and are being conducted to test the ground for a massive UAV attack.
🔹On the fronts, fierce fighting continues along the entire line of contact. In the #SouthDonetsk direction, Russian troops managed to take control of the #Zverinets (#Menagerie) fortification and continued to develop their offensive at the #Pobeda - #Novomikhaylovka line.
🔹In the #Kherson direction, fighting continues near #Krynki, where the Ukrainian command is actively redeploying additional forces.
📌 Not without sad events: Today Russian Su-34s were ambushed near #Chaplinka. According to available information, one aircraft crew was rescued, while the fate of the others is still unknown.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, the AFU is making efforts to expand their foothold. And it must be recognised that to date the attempts of our forces to push them back have not been successful. The move of the AFU by strengthening the air defence on the right bank and near #Kherson also helps them so far. Our aircrafts have not made combat sorties in this area for the last few days. The tight work of the AFU's electronic warfare service also complicates our military's efforts. Whether it is a potentially promising direction for the enemy or not, they are squeezing the maximum out of it.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, fighting has intensified again near #Gulyaypole. The enemy is suffering significant losses, but so far our troops have not been able to advance, but near #Rabotino they continue to do so.
🔹In the #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are literally dismantling the enemy's positions in #Novomikhaylovka with FABs and artillery, and are preparing for a ground assault. The AFU are trying to counterattack, without success. The loss of the so-called "#Menagerie" (#Zverinets) zone in the southeast of the village has significantly complicated the position of the AFU. Advances are also being recorded in the direction of #Pobeda.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the #Avdeyevka front, it is reported that the AFU command is moving headquarters, rotation points and hospitals from the city itself to #Ocheretino, which is the last major fortification. Then only the steppes of #Donbass up to #Pokrovsk, where the AFU headquarters was recently hit. There is an opinion that Kiev plans to withdraw the main forces from #Avdeyevka itself, leaving only mercenaries and special forces. The decision may be influenced by the encirclement of #Berdychi on the northern flank by our army. From #Stepovoye, which is now being fought over, to its outskirts is about 1.5 km. Near #Gorlovka, the AFU again tried to attack. Our units confidently repulsed them. At #Ocheretino, our forces have taken a number of positions. There is heavy fighting on the southern flank, with no changes in the frontline.

At #Bogdanovka, our forces advanced and took a number of other positions. But at #Kleshcheyevka our forces repelled a major AFU counterattack. The enemy had no success, lost men and two IFVs. At #Andreyevka ours attacked with the support of artillery, without success.
🔹In #Svatovo Direction, the enemy tried to counterattack at #Torskoye and #Dibrova, our forces held their positions. In the #Kupyansk sector in #Sinkovka our stormtroopers continue to advance. Now our attacks at #Sinkovka, unfortunately, resemble the frontal attacks of the AFU at #Rabotino in the summer.
