🗓 Yesterday's day was characterised by the expansion of the enemy control zone in the #Kursk region. 🗺👇 By the evening the AFU was stopped by combat near the working village of #Korenevo, although the foe clearly intended to go even further, to #Rylsk. The foe is gaining a foothold, pulling reserves, increasing the presence of equipment in the region, despite the constant strikes of our aviation and drones. At around 03:00., 7 AFU missiles were shot down by air defence forces over the region.

🔹We can see the foe's plan to reach the #Kursk NPP through #Lgov. Our side is taking counter measures to protect the facility. There are reports of the enemy's approach to the village of #MalayaLoknya.

🔹The situation is complicated by the work of the foe's air defence, which creates risks for the actions of our aircraft against foe's armoured vehicles. The Russian Army is bringing in reinforcements. Apti Alaudinov arrived in the region with the so-called "International" Akhmat, reported the entry of his units into the work. There are also reports that the RFAF are transferring reserves from other directions.

🔹Against this background, information about the increased activity of the foe and possible provocations and breakthrough attempts in the #Bryansk, #Belgorod, #Zaporozhye and #Kherson directions, as well as about the possible opening of another section of the front near the #Kursk border is spreading in the net. At the same time, no information about such actions of the AFU has been received so far.

🔹Yesterday, the foe replicated footage of our prisoners in the uniforms of enlisted servicemen of the RFAF, as well as bodies lying on the ground near the Sudzha Checkpoint on the border. Over the past day our dispersed units have been withdrawing from the enemy encirclement.

📌 The situation is complicated, the trend is caused by the foe's engagement of larger forces than previously estimated. Our forces will have to stabilise the front and localise further AFU breakthroughs.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Kursk Direction - What is known by the End of 11 August 2024⚡️

🗓 By the end of the day, a tense but relatively stable situation remained in the #Kursk direction. Russian troops are bringing in additional forces to the region and launching counterattacks in several areas.

🔹Satellite images from the enemy side eappeared, according to which the RFAF began building a new defence line south of #Kurchatov. Its main goal is to prevent a breakthrough of Ukrainian formations in the event of the introduction of reserves and further advance.

🔻In the #Sudzha district, AFU attacks continued throughout the day on the eastern part of the administrative centre controlled by Russian troops. Meanwhile, the enemy still occupies the western suburbs of #Sudzha - #Goncharovka and #Zaoleshenka.

🟡On the northern flank, RFAF units confidently hold #Martynovka, which the enemy tried to recapture several times. The takeover of the settlement will allow the AFU to limit the supply of #Sudzha, and in the event of an advance in the southern suburbs, to completely isolate the settlement.

🔻In the #Korenevo district, Ukrainian formations occupy positions in forested areas along the #Sudzha - #Korenevo Motorway, which regularly receive artillery and aviation strikes. In the vicinity of #Korenevo, there is no enemy.

🟡At the same time, Russian troops counterattacked in the direction of the village of #Snagost, knocking the enemy out of the village. Currently, cleansing is ongoing in the village.

🔻In the #Glushkovo district, Ukrainian formations continue to launch artillery strikes on #Tyotkino. The movement of the AFU is recorded to the south and west of the settlement.

📌 At the moment, many are waiting for the next actions of the AFU. Apart from the night “breakthrough” in the #Belaya district, the Ukrainian formations have shown virtually no offensive activity over the past two days.

🟡The enemy tried to advance towards #Lgov and #Korenevo only twice with the support of armoured vehicles, but both times the attacks were successfully stopped by artillery fire. Nevertheless, the AFU command conducted reconnaissance by force in the #Belgorod region, and there were also reports of enemy concentrations in the #Bryansk region.
