Bu yapı, bir sonuç bildirmek için kullanılır.

“O kadar / Öyle (bir) … ki” anlamına gelir ve genellikle sıfat ya da isimle birlikte kullanılır.

Yapıları:

1) such + a/an + adjective + tekil isim + that + clause
2) such + adj + çoğul isim + that
3) such + adj + sayılamayan isim + that
4) such + adv + that

Örnekler:

• It was such a boring movie that I fell asleep.
(O kadar sıkıcı bir filmdi ki uyuyakaldım.)

Notlar:

• Buradaki “such” bir intensifier’dır (derece bildirir).

• “So + adjective + that” yapısının isimli versiyonudur.

The blast, estimated to be 1,000 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, caused trees to fall radially outward from a central point, yet curiously left no visible crater behind. To this day, the Tunguska Event remains one of the most powerful and perplexing atmospheric explosions in recorded history.

The leading theory suggests that a small asteroid or comet—perhaps 50 to 60 meters in diameter—entered Earth’s atmosphere and exploded mid-air at an altitude of around 5 to 10 kilometers. This airburst would have released a tremendous amount of energy without ever striking the ground, which could explain the absence of an impact crater. However, no definitive fragments of the object have ever been found, and eyewitness accounts described a fiery object streaking across the sky, followed by a shockwave that knocked people off their feet even hundreds of kilometers away.

Over the decades, numerous alternative theories have been proposed, ranging from antimatter collisions and black hole impacts to more outlandish suggestions involving extraterrestrial spacecraft. While scientific consensus favors the airburst explanation, the Tunguska Event remains a reminder of Earth’s vulnerability to cosmic threats and the gaps in our planetary defense systems.

Its mystery continues to fascinate scientists, survivalists, and conspiracy theorists alike—standing as a dramatic, unsolved riddle from the skies.
