Of course they did. Remember the names Christopher Steele, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, Glen Simpson, Fusion GPS—just to name a few? It was the consummate “wrap up smear” of manufactured rumors repeated and published—smoke tied with baling wire—to ruin a President and his administration. Sounds like conspiracy and obstruction of justice for starters.
