Our challenge these days seems to be elected Republicans who, at present, are doing all they can to stop President Trump from fully implementing the agenda that over half the country voted for. They are good at this. After all, they have had a lot of practice when they destroyed the Tea Party movement. And then, were complicit in election fraud denier-ism and everything surrounding January 6.

This weekend, which celebrated the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, brought devastating acts of murder and mayhem to many parts of the world—including to the United States at an Ivy League university. At the moment, it appears many of these attacks were done by Muslims against Jewish people.
While some wars are easily defined ... between two counties over sometimes ancient disputes... we now have a world war that is tougher to conceptualize.

Occasionally, we find a hero, like the gentlemen in Australia who tackled an active shooter and took the gun. But more often of late, we witness inadequate policing, woefully weak elected mayors, councilmen, state representatives, and weak university presidents.
