Other than footwork and hitting the bird against a wall, my coaches usually have us do pushups, situps, lunges, sprints, burpees, planks, jump roping, and ladder drills. For stamina, they suggested running so you don’t get tired easily while training or during long matches.
Battle ropes 3 ways. Pronated and supinated alternating waves AND double slam.

Jump squats or squat with free weights, dead lifts, reverse fly, tricep pull downs, calf raises, wrist curls(if you don't do battle ropes), and core.

Disclaimer: You NEED to balance out all the muscles in your body. Over working a few target muscle will result in overall pain because other muscles can't "keep up" with the stronger muscles per se. Imagine someone only working out biceps. You're going to have problems as time passes if your shoulders, traps, and lower back can't support the increased stress and load.
