🚨 This morning protestors blocked the I-90 highway entrance into downtown Chicago during morning rush hour for 1 hour to honor one year of anti-colonial Palestinian resistance.
Palestinian Youth and Allies will not allow business to go on as usual while our tax dollars are funding genocide. The protest is part of a larger campaign calling for Illinois to divest from the state of Israel.

Palestinian youth & allies block highway entrance into downtown Chicago during morning rush hour in honor of one year of resistance and the 180,000+ Palestinians that have been martyred in this past year of Israel’s genocide in Gaza funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars. On Thursday, organizers with USPCN, Chicago Alliance, Anti-War Committee, SDS at UIC, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and others are RIGHT blocked the entrances to Barclays Investment Bank at 190 S. LaSalle Street in Chicago, demanding that Barclays divests from the U.S.-funded Israeli occupation and its genocide against the Palestinian people of Gaza.
The organizers involved in this civil disobedience refuse to allow anyone to enter the building.
