Someone with a higher calling can’t just marry anyone, can’t just be friends with anyone, can’t just accept any job, and can’t just live anywhere.
When you’ve been doing life on your own, having full control, you start adding people and things thinking, “these are my people… this is my life.” But the moment you truly build a relationship with God, He starts removing everything He didn’t send. And it can feel confusing. It can feel like loss. But it’s not punishment… it’s protection.
God knows what you need in this season. He knows who can go where He’s taking you and who can’t. Some people were only meant to be in your life for a season. Some situations were only meant to teach you something, not stay with you forever.
They are not your lifetime people.
They are not your lifetime problems.
They are not your final destination.
God is elevating you. He’s taking you from glory to glory. So don’t hold on to what He’s trying to remove… trust that where He’s leading you requires a different level.
