For most of us, we are in a fasting season, we can have only a few things whenever we go outside. I went to Taitu a week ago to check out their vegan buffet. The first time I arrived there late and I couldn’t take a photo of their buffet because there were a lot of people, so I decides to go there again; this time early, around 11:30AM (5:00 morning, local time) just to take good photos and a short video.
So I wanna share my full experience, so that you won’t get confused when you go there. Since the first time I went there, I was confused a lot on many things.

🔰 Is it cheap? (Their buffet)
Their price depends on how you eat. I mean if you are a foodie like me, their pay per gram is expensive. If not, it’s very fair.
Pay Per Kilo - 100gram 15birr
Pick as much as you want - 95 birr
I had their pay per kilo, you can find the photo here. 600gram which is 90 birr.
🔰 What’s unique about their buffet and the place also?
▪️They serve 30 kinds of food on their buffet.
▪️It’s fully vegan. They don’t even serve fish on their buffet even though it’s fasting season.
▪️Good music (Piano)
▪️Their interior design is traditional
🔰 Anything else you should know before you go there?
▪️All of their prices are vat inclusive.
▪️Takeaway Available
▪️You can’t eat one plate for two
▪️They start serving their buffet starting from 12PM - 3PM (6-9LT)
▪️Don’t expect any fish on their buffet.
▪️ They serve the whole 365 days a year which is good for vegan people.
▪️You will pay for each round you pick if you decide to go for pay per kilo. (After you pick, call for the waiter and show her the weight that you've picked so that you can avoid any confusion)
▪️If you want to go for 95, just pick as much as you want and you want to add something, go there and add anything II want. You still are going to pay 95. Do not get ashamed to pick as much as you want. (Remember that)
🔰 Our recommendation?
▪️Go there early from 6-6:30 it’s less crowded and you can’t find seats easily.
▪️ If you don’t eat much and don’t want to pay 95, go for pay per kilo, especially those of you who have no appetite.

▪️They are starting a Loyalty Card with the theme ‘Lucky number 5’ for the month of December, where if you go and dine there for 4 consecutive days, the fifth time will be on the house (don't forget to save the receipts from the first four trips). You could alternatively go with 4 of your friends and the fifth food you order will be free.
▪️They have a verity of European breakfasts on their menu, a specialty of the place, which you can order at anytime, not just in the mornings.
