A week ago we gave a review about Taitu Hotel buffet and shared our experience. This week, we wanted to try something different.
So, Safeway is known for their supermarket but not all of us know about their buffet. I went to their Gerji Branch to try their buffet and share everything you should know before you go there.
A lot of people know about their buffet, especially Unity University students. We know a lot of Unity members are in the channel, so if I miss anything, don’t forget to mention it in the comments section down below.

📍Gerji Mebrat hail, 200m from Allmart
📍Bole Atlas, in front of Rommi Burger.
📍Lebu, in front of Awash international bank.
📍CMC road, Infront of civil service.
📍 Summit, on the road from yetebaberut to safari adebabay next to peace juice and burger.
🔰Is it cheap? Their buffet?
▪️Their price is cheap considering the type of foods you get. They use pay per kilo method which is good for most of us.
500 gram - 52 birr

🔰 What’s unique about this place? (Buffet)
▪️ You can find their buffet at any day you go there.
▪️ It’s completely vegan, they don’t serve fish or dairy products.
▪️They have more than 10 types of foods on their buffet.
▪️ All their branches' food tastes the same since it’s a truck that delivers the food on each branch.
▪️ They also serve burger, pizza and hot drinks but we won’t be covering that on this review.
🔰What else should we know about this place?
▪️All prices are vat inclusive.
▪️ You'll be Self Serving yourself which means no one is going to come and take your order. Check out the video we upload on how you can order your meal.
▪️WiFi Available (Password -Safeway1234) use it till they change it (you're welcome😄).
▪️You can find their buffet at any branch from the list, starting from 11AM (5:00 morning, local time) in the morning.
▪️To get all the meal fresh and hot we recommend going their early around 11:30AM (5:30 morning, local time).
▪️You have to pay first before you take your meal.
▪️ If you want additional meal, again you will pay for the weight.
▪️Parking is an issue for their Gerji and Atlas Branches.
