የተለያዩ ሴቶችን ፎቶ ግራፍ ከቴሌግራምና ከቲክቶክ በማውረድ በከፈተው ሀሰተኛ አካውንት እለቃለሁ ብሎ በማስፈራራት ክብርን በማዋረድና የፆታ ግኑኝነት በመጠየቅ የተጠረጠረን ግለሰብ ይዞ ምርመራ እያጣራ መሆኑን የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ጠቅላይ መምሪያ ገለፀ።
ሀምሌ 30 ቀን 20017 ዓ/ም ከምሽቱ 12 ሰአት ተኩል ሲሆን በንፋስ ስልክ ላፍቶ ክ/ከተማ ወረዳ 5 ልዩ ቦታው ብሔረ ፅጌ መናፈሻ እየተባለ ከሚጠራው አካባቢ ነው ወንጀሉ የተፈፀመው።
አንተን አየሁ ሞላ የተባለው ተጠርጣሪ ራሱ ባዘጋጀው ሰቦንቱ ኤጀንት ሰርቪስ የሚል ሀሰተኛ የቲክቶክ አካውንት በመክፈት የግለሰቦችን ፈቃደኝነት ሳይጠይቅ ከቴሌግራም፣ ከቲክቶክ እንዲሁም ሴቶችን መንገድ ላይ በሚጓዙበት ወቅት ፎቶ በማንሳትና ቪዲዮ በመቅረፅ ራሱ በከፈተው አካውንት ላይ አቀናብሮ በመልቀቅ ግለሰቦችን በማስፈራራትና በማስገደድ የፆታ ግኑኝነት ጭምር የሚጠይቅ ግለሰብ መሆኑን የምርመራ መዝገቡ ያስረዳል፡፡
ተከሳሹ ወይዘሮ ሰላማዊት ታደሰን የቤት ተከራይ መስሎ በመቅረብ ስልክ ቁጥሯን በመውሰድ የራሱ ባልሆነ ስልክ ቁጥር በመጠቀም ከቴሌግራም ላይ ፎቶዋን በማውረድና በማቀናበር ግላዊ የፆታ ግኑኝነት ከሷ ጋር እንድትፈፀም ያቀናበረውን ሰነድ በማስፈራሪያነት በመጠቀም ያስገድዳታል።
የግል ተበዳይም " ባለትዳርና የልጆች እናት ነኝ ይህንን ድርጊት ለመፈፀም ፈቃደኛ አይደለሁም " ብትለውም ማስፈራራቱን ባለማቋረጥ ባዘጋጀው ሀሰተኛ የቲክቶክ አካውንት " ሹገር ማሚ " ስለሆነች በእኔ አካውንት ማግኘት ትችላላችሁ በማለት ከአንድ ሺ በላይ ተከታይ ባለው የቲክቶክ አካውንት በማጋራቱ የግል ተበዳይ ለፖሊስ አመልክታለች፡፡
የንፋስ ስልክ ላፍቶ ክፍለ ከተማ ፖሊስ መምሪያ የደረሰውን አቤቱታ መነሻ በማድረግ ግለሰቡን በቁጥጥር ስር አውሎ ለአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ጠቅላይ መምሪያ የሴቶች እና ህፃናት ወንጀሎች ምርመራ መላኩን የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ጠቅላይ መምሪያ ገልጿል።
በተጠርጣሪው ግለሰብ ላይ ፖሊስ ባደረገው ምርመራ የማስፋት ተግባር ከሃያ በላይ የሚሆኑ ሴቶች ላይ ተመሳሳይ ድርጊት ለመፈፀም ካዘጋጃቸው ፎቶዎች ጋር መያዙንም ፖሊስ አስታውሷል፡፡

sheEsecures is hosting a week-long exhibition at Atmosphere from 22–29 November 2025 to create space for reflection, learning, and action. The goal is to help visitors understand the scale of TFGBV, recognize its real-world impact, and spark a conversation and a stronger community commitment to safer digital spaces.

The Screenshot Exhibition reflected the lived realities of technology facilitated gender based violence; harassement, threats, bullying, and intimidation that women and girls continue to face online, often in isolation and with little institutional support. These are not isolated incidents, but part of a wider system that polices women’s voices and participation in public life.
Throughout the week, visitors paused, reflected, asked questions, and shared their own stories. Many spoke about how validating it felt to see experiences they were often told to “ignore” or “get used to” taken seriously and displayed.
sheEsecures is deeply grateful to everyone who engaged, to our opening event panelists, exhibiting partners, and Chewata Awaqi for energizing the opening event. The conversations sparked are an invitation to listen more closely, challenge TFGBV, and organize collectively toward safer digital spaces for women and girls.
