As part of our commitment to ensure that Ignition IDO whitelist lotteries are conducted with transparency, we are publishing the winners' list for the Shadows IDO Whitelisting process.

Winners have been already notified via email📧

We got tremendous support from both the PAID and Shadows community. When the Shadows whitelist lottery was closed we got a total of 20,468 valid lottery tickets, which we randomly drew 496 winners from🎟

Few important points to consider:

Winners have 24 hours to complete KYC✔️
Moon and Galaxy tiers will receive emails with all the necessary information✔️
For Galaxy Tier, the IDO starts tomorrow at 1PM UTC, and for the Moon tier, it starts at 2PM UTC. *This does not affect the allocation of Moon as both will have separate Pools✔️

Dear Shadows Community,

Thank you for your incredible support and patience during the recent turbulence. The team is here to address some of the main concerns you raised.

Shadows Network uses a proxy contract to upgrade its smart contract. The ownership of the proxy contract and the ERC20 contract are secured through multisig. The proxy contract is based on a standard open-sourced protocol: https://openzeppelin.com. The Openzeppelin protocol has been well tested and audited. It has also been used by many projects such as Compound and Coinbase. The purpose of Shadows’ proxy contract is to deliver key functions such as issuing, trading, borrowing/lending synthetic assets on the network. In addition, the proxy contract will be used to deploy incentive DApps such as LP staking and DAO governance, etc. 63 million DOWS will be minted through these DApps to reward our community. Again, this approach is widely used in the industry (e.g. SushiSwap and Synthetix). Once the rest of the 63% DOWS are completely released, the mint function will be permanently removed from Shadows smart contract.

The team will make sure future upgrades are open-sourced and as transparent as possible. Another synthetic asset project Synthetix has delivered tens of rounds of updates through their proxy contract, each round of upgrade just made their network more powerful and secure. We are committed to do even better. In the future, our team will maintain close communication with the community and we will appreciate your supervision and suggestions. Together with our strong community, we firmly believe we will deliver some of the best products to the world.
