In response to the storm surges and torrential floods that affected communities in Southeast Asia, the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) will be launching a public fundraising appeal to aid disaster relief and recovery operations in these countries. Come and join us for a magical ride this weekend!
On today and Saturday (11 and 12 Dec), head over to the Red Cross House (15 Penang Lane, S’pore 238486) from 7pm - 9pm to enjoy a 20 mins cruise down Orchard road in a Vespa side-car, all while soaking in the festive atmosphere! Each ride is $50** and all funds collected will go directly to support our local beneficiaries!

In response to Tropical #CycloneYasa, which made landfall in Fiji on 17 December 2020, the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) is committing US$30,000 in relief supplies, on top of the Singapore Government’s contribution of US$50,000 to the SRC, to support Fiji in its disaster relief and recovery efforts. The funds will support the purchase and distribution of first aid supplies, hygiene kits, household items, temporary shelter materials (tarpaulins) and safe water.

[Peninsular Malaysia floods] Responding to the heavy rain and #flooding that have affected thousands in Peninsular Malaysia, the Singapore Red Cross will contribute S$50,000 to support relief and recovery operations by the Malaysian Red Crescent. The contribution will go towards supporting the thousands of families who have been evacuated to 303 relief centres, and would include the distribution of food items, first aid kits, hygiene kits and providing psychosocial support, voucher assistance to affected families in Johor, Pahang and Kelantan.
