I love how Ryan Coogler blends vampires, magic, and the oppressive atmosphere of the 1930s South. Michael B. Jordan plays twin brothers—one burdened by family history, the other embracing the darkness. Hailee Steinfeld, in her most seductive role yet, ignites passions with her vampiric touch 🦇.
Inspired by The Twilight Zone and Mississippi blues, the film fluidly shifts between genres. Shot in 65mm with input from Christopher Nolan, the visuals promise an intense, immersive experience. Even Jack O’Connell, whom I admire from Rogue Heroes, looks phenomenal. This feels like my personal From Dusk Till Dawn, a love letter to horror and music.
