Marvel has dropped the first official teaser and confirms what many of us already suspected: Chris Evans returns as Steve Rogers. No dialogue, the classic Avengers theme, and a very deliberate image: Steve rides his motorcycle to a farmhouse, cradles a newborn baby, and then pulls the Captain America suit out of storage, like someone flipping through an old album from a past life. It all ends with the on-screen line: ‘Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday’. Pure nostalgia straight to the veins 🧨

I’m intrigued by the hook, but I’m also worried they might tamper with the perfect ending of Avengers: Endgame. To me, the teaser feels heavier on marketing than on cinema… 😅

Forget the green tights and merry forests. Hugh Jackman steps into the boots of a disillusioned outlaw, think Logan or Unforgiven, not the classic folk hero. Directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One), this dark reimagining of the myth paints Robin Hood as a man broken by violence, seeking redemption through the hands of a mysterious woman (the always magnetic Jodie Comer).

The trailer teases a raw, brutal aesthetic with the visual grit of The Northman and the tragic weight of a twilight epic. Jackman is nearly unrecognizable, aged, haunted, and already being whispered about in early Oscar conversations.

Personally, I’m drawn to this somber twist. Sometimes, you need to drag a legend through the mud to find its humanity. And if A24 is giving us a Robin Hood who bleeds, kills, and regrets... I want to watch him burn. 🏹🔥

What really grabs me about ‘Crime 101’ is its confidence. This looks like a sleek, old-school heist thriller, soaked in sun, concrete and quiet obsession. Chris Hemsworth (‘Thor’, ‘Extraction’) dials down the superhero swagger and plays it cool as an elusive jewel thief who treats Los Angeles like a chessboard. He’s restrained, methodical, and surprisingly convincing in this colder register 💎🚔

Mark Ruffalo (‘Zodiac’, ‘Spotlight’) is right at home as a dogged detective convinced there’s a hidden pattern everyone else is missing. Halle Berry (‘Monster’s Ball’, ‘Die another day’) brings real weight and allure as a disillusioned insurance broker standing at a personal breaking point. And whenever Barry Keoghan (‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, ‘Saltburn’) shows up, you know trouble isn’t far behind.

Bart Layton, coming off the brilliant ‘American Animals’, clearly understands the anatomy of obsession and risk. There’s a strong modern ‘Heat’ energy here 🔥. Yes, the trailer might reveal a bit too much, but I’ll gladly take that if it means this kind of adult, theatrical crime film is back on the big screen. Stylish, tense, and refreshingly cinematic 🎬.

First look at Yoshi in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and the character works 🦖… he doesn’t speak, he just grunts, and that’s the right call. It stays true to the games and avoids turning him into yet another chatty Illumination mascot.

The trailer once again feels more Odyssey than Galaxy, leaning heavily on a parade of references: Birdo, Mouser, babies, power-up suits, a T-Rex… too much at once 🎮

The classic music does peek through, but I still doubt it’ll be respected all the way through 🎶. There’s potential, sure, but also the sense that this franchise may be getting overloaded a bit too fast.

Jack Thorne ('Adolescence') and Marc Munden turn William Golding's novel into a four-episode miniseries. British schoolboys stranded on an island with no adults, order crumbling into tribalism and violence. The timeless classic, but with a cast of over 30 young actors and a killer soundtrack: Cristobal Tapia de Veer ('The White Lotus') scores the series while Hans Zimmer ('Dune') composed the main theme 🎼.

The trailer already nails that suffocating atmosphere the material demands. If they captured the descent into chaos and loss of innocence right, this could be the best adaptation yet. 'Yellowjackets' fans, mark your calendars 🐚🔥.

Netflix 📺 dropped the teaser for The Adventures of Cliff Booth during the Super Bowl, and it’s still hard to believe this is real. Brad Pitt returns to the role that earned him an Oscar in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, this time front and center and firmly set in the 1970s. The real power move isn’t the comeback itself, but who’s behind it: David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club) directing a script by Quentin Tarantino. A bizarre pairing… and a dangerously compelling one.

The footage hints at a darker Cliff, less nostalgia, more grit: bars, racing, playful censorship, implied violence, and a less romanticized Hollywood. Fincher runs Tarantino’s universe through his cold, surgical lens, and that could be gold or pure dynamite, but it won’t be boring.

Netflix going all in? Massive budget, a Super Bowl teaser, and an iconic character back behind the wheel. This feels like a high-end cinephile indulgence 🎬🔥.
