Advanced or first degree preferred in political and economic sciences, sociology, law, international relations or related fields with relevant experience in humanitarian or development & UN or NGO experience required
Competence:-
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound understanding of gender-appropriate, humanitarian programming
- Proven experience in report writing
- Availability for travel in-country
- Excellent computer literacy and skills (word, excel, lotus notes, databases, and internet)
- Ability to work with moderate supervision, efficiency competence, and integrity with people of different national backgrounds
- Proficiency in written and oral English. A second UN language is desirable
