✈️ Bengaluru firm makes an Indian part for military aircraft
izmo Microsystems, the chip unit of izmo Ltd, has built a "pitch detector" at its Bengaluru facility.
What does it do? It senses how much an aircraft's nose tilts up or down and sends this data to the compass system.
Earlier, India bought this part from abroad, in small and irregular lots. The team rebuilt it without the original drawings, and it passed the strict military reliability standard MIL-PRF-38534.
Why it matters for you: defence electronics made in India needs engineers who understand circuits, packaging and testing.

Companies can apply for support for:
chip machines and materials
new chip fabs
chip packaging and testing plants
Only complete applications from serious companies will be accepted.
The government also cleared 12 electronics parts projects: 💰 ₹7,503 crore investment 👷 7,127 direct jobs 📍 7 states, including Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
