Important Notice on Compliance with COVID-19 Control Measures

Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability & the Environment was reported in the Chinese daily Lianhe Zaobao on 18/08/2020 that town councils would pay special attention to violations on safe distancing and non-wearing of face masks at sports courts when not exercising. If violations continued, relevant community facilities and stadiums would be closed.

Relevant to dragon boating, SDBA urged our dragon boat community to please comply fully with our DB-Safe Plan. This is to ensure that we can continue to practice and enjoy our sport safely.

We must with due diligence, practice sufficient safe distancing as prescribed. We must also protect ourselves and others by wearing face masks (& face shields under certain conditions) at all times unless exercising or engaged in strenuous activity (such as when lifting the dragon boat, etc.)
