Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Gunduz Ismayilov: #Armenia has pursued a specific policy towards the historical, #religious and cultural monuments of #Azerbaijan. First of all, the main goal of this policy is to eliminate our traces from there. Armenia has carried out this activity in 3 directions. The first direction is aimed at the destruction of all Islamic temples, shrines and mosques. Second, they alienated #Islamic temples by presenting them as examples of another nation's culture. The third direction was the attitude towards the #Albanian temples, where the essence of their policy was a policy of privatization. Almost all of the 128 Albanian temples under occupation, including the Khudavang temple, the Agaoglan temple in Lachin, the #Ganjasar temple in Aghdara and the #Amasar #church in the #Khojavend region, have been converted into Gregorian churches.
