Unlike traditional internet domains, TON DNS doesn’t rely on centralized DNS registrars.

In light of recent events, the idea feels especially relevant again. Situations like these highlight why Telegram originally set out to build its own decentralized domain name system.

It’s just a shame that TON DNS development has largely stalled over the past few years.
