What your child learns now carries straight into P5 and P6. Weak roots show up later, and by then there is less time to fix them.
Here is one thing we see all the time.
A child writes "the water gained heat."
Marked wrong.
Why? The answer does not say where the heat came from.
The full answer is "the water gained heat from the hot stone." That missing phrase is the mark.
Most children know the science. They just leave out the part the examiner is looking for.

Remember this rule.
The closer an object is to the torch, the bigger its shadow.
Here is one must-know question for this topic. Three cardboard shapes. Three positions. One tricky shadow.
Can your child spot the examiner's trap? 🤔
Now twist the question around.
What if one of the objects is translucent?
It casts a lighter shadow. It will show a shadow in grey instead of black.
