Step-by-Step: How to Install Scanon AI on Windows/Windows VM

Because Scanon AI is brand-new software and not yet registered in Microsoft’s database, you’ll encounter several security checks during installation. This is expected and safe. Follow these steps exactly to install successfully:

1️⃣ Download the App

Click the download link above.

Google Drive may warn you that the file could be dangerous — this is normal.

Click “Download anyway.”

2️⃣ Bypass Browser Security

After the file downloads, most browsers (like Chrome) will flag it.

Go to your Downloads list.

Click the three dots next to the downloaded file.

Choose “Keep.”

When prompted with the blue “Delete” button, don’t click it. Instead, click the dropdown arrow and select “Keep anyway.”

3️⃣ Bypass Windows Defender

When you open the .exe file, Windows will likely show a “Windows protected your PC” message.

Click “More info.”

Then click “Run anyway.”

4️⃣ Complete Installation

Once past security checks, the installation wizard will open.

Click “Next.”

Accept the terms & conditions by clicking “I Agree.”

Wait for installation to complete.

Done! Scanon AI will now be installed and ready to run on your machine.

💡 Important: Because we’re still early in development, these warnings are expected. Future versions will be signed and verified — but for now, following the above steps ensures a smooth install.
