= ख्वाबों का शहंशाह ख्वाबों में लोट-पलोट लगा रहा है।
स्वप्नजा स्वप्नेषु लुट्यते
= ख्वाबों के शहंशाह द्वारा ख्वाबों मंे लोट-पलोट लगाई जा रही है।
मूले सति छिन्नोऽपि तरुः रोहति
= जड़ के रहने पर कटा हुआ पेड़ भी पुनः उग आता है।

= जड़ के रहने पर कटे हुए पेड़ द्वारा भी पुनः उगा जाता है।
छिद्रवदेकेन दुर्गुणेनापि सर्वे गुणाः स्रवन्ति
= जैसे एक छेद के कारण घड़े से सारा पानी बह जाता है वैसे ही एक दुर्गण के कारण व्यक्ति के सारे गुण नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

To provide an introduction and background of the Indic knowledge landscape with details of categorization and classification of Vedas, their relevance in paving the Indic way of life
Course outcome
At the end of the course the learner will be able to -
Describe the Vedic worldview gleaning through the Chaturdaśa vidyāsthānās (14 Indic Knowledge Systems)
Demonstrate the structure and landscape of Vedic knowledge body based on their purpose, function and structure
Compare the different structures of the Vedic literature that encode knowledge serving different purposes including transmission of knowledge over generations, its practice and application
Analyze the social impact of the Vedic way of life

♦️Karotu karatah shabdam sarvadaa praangane vasan.
Na shrunoti budhh preetyaa shrunoti pikabhaashitam.
Karotu =do
Karatah = a crow
Shabdam = noise
Sarvadaa = always
Praangane = at the court-yard
Na = not
shrunoti = hear, listen
Budhah = wisemen
Preetyaa = gladly, affectionately
Pika = Indian cuckoo bird (Koel)
Bhaashitiam = cuckoo's call.
⚜Crows roam around the court-yards of houses and
create noise (kao kao) . Wise persons ignore such sound
but listen gladly the tweets (kuhu Kuhu) of the cuckoo
bird (Koel in Hindi).
(The idea behind this Subhashita is that wise men ignore the harsh words spoken to them and do not react, whereas listen to those attentively who speak to them politely. )
🔅ज्ञानीजनः प्राङ्गणे वसतः काकस्य कर्कशध्वनीं न शृणोति अपि तु पिकभाषितं मधुरं वचनमेव शृणोति।
अर्थात् बुद्धिमन्तः कटुवचनेषु न अपितु मधुरवचनेषु एव ध्यानं ददति।

करोतु करटः शब्दं सर्वदा प्राङ्गणे वसन्।
