We are an independent group of New Zealanders dedicated to protecting our children, each other and our environment from the harmful effects of wireless radiation.

Drawing on decades of scientific research (https://www.safertechnz.co.nz/research), we aim to inform the public about health effects of wireless radiation and ways to reduce exposure. We provide evidence-based guidelines to help concerned citizens to minimise risk.

We strongly believe there is sufficient evidence of harm to merit an urgent revision of the radiation 'Safety Standards' in New Zealand, which are among the least protective in the world.

We can see that our government is giving technology precedence over health, ignoring Conflicts of Interest on its advisory committee and overlooking the results of thousands of peer-reviewed, scientific studies.
SaferTechNZ will add posts related to wireless radiation and our activities.

Important posts will be pinned (Click on the top right 'pin' icon to see pinned messages)

Its good to see that some tech companies such as Chorus are making real sense!
There is very little quality research on the health effects of 5G. Health concerns are being ignored in the name of so-called progress and profits. Here's an update on research in Sweden...

Say NO to More Cell Towers – Submissions Close 27 July

The government is proposing changes to allow taller cell towers, bigger antennas, and more transmitters—with fewer protections for people, homes, wildlife, and local input.

This supports 5G and “smart city” rollouts but increases risks to health and the environment, including impacts on birds, bees, children, and community wellbeing.

The Ministry for the Environment is asking for public feedback on these changes. Only 6 questions - but we must speak up clearly and firmly.
