Description: The beginning of the 18th century. Cartographer Jonathan Greene makes a scientific journey from Europe to the East. Having traveled through Transylvania and overcoming the Carpathian Mountains, he finds himself in a village lost among the impenetrable forests. Only chance and a thick fog could bring him to this cursed place. The people living here are unlike any traveler has ever seen. These people, having protected themselves from the rest of the world with a deep ditch, naively believe that they can protect themselves from evil spirits, not realizing that it has long settled in their souls and is just waiting for an opportunity to break out. Even in a nightmare, the materialist scientist did not imagine that here he was destined to meet with the faithful servant of the devil.
