🗓️ 15 августа 2023 г. директор факультета архитектуры и природоохранного проектирования Международного исламского университета Малайзии (IIUM) доктор наук Сразали бин Арипин и декан Абдул Разак Сапиан вместе с группой студентов приняли участие в дружеской встрече "Get-Together" перед поездкой в Россию для изучения Джума-мечети в Дербенте, построенной в 733 г. и являющейся древнейшей в России. На встрече также присутствовал доктор Раджив Бханот, председатель российско-малайзийского союза выпускников «MARSA».
В ходе встречи выступил с речью Посол Российской Федерации в Малайзии Наиль Мазгутович Латыпов, выразивший благодарность руководству IIUM за то, что эта поездка стала возможной. Посол также пожелал студентам плодотворного и насыщенного путешествия в Россию, наполненного ценными знаниями и незабываемыми воспоминаниями, которые будут способствовать дальнейшему укреплению связей между Россией и Малайзией.

🐕💔 In the Russian city of Yalta, a sculptural composition will be installed to a local dog named Mukhtar, whom locals also nicknamed Hatiko. For 12 years, every day, from early morning until late evening, the dog wandered along the seashore, peering sadly into the distance of the sea and looking around. Mukhtar was waiting for his owner.
Many events have happened over the years. Once, having heard the screams of vacationers riding an inflatable banana, Mukhtar decided that people needed help and rushed into the water. And people just squealed with delight. He rushed to save people, as once his beloved master. But the steel screw severely crippled the dog. Mukhtar survived, only the scars on his body reminded him of that terrible event.
People adored the dog with all their hearts and even believed that a monument should be erected to the dog during its lifetime. Mukhtar - Crimean Hachiko. Faithful and devoted. But at noon on August 16, a sad event happened for the residents and guests of Yalta - the famous dog died.
The sculptural composition is now planned to be installed on the embankment of the city.

В течение 12 лет каждый день, с раннего утра и до позднего вечера, он гулял вдоль берега, грустно поглядывая в морскую даль и тревожно озираясь вокруг, — Мухтар ждал своего хозяина.
За эти годы произошло множество событий в жизни собаки. Однажды, услышав крики отдыхающих, катающихся на надувном банане, Мухтар решил, что им нужна помощь, и бросился в воду. Люди с восторгом восприняли поступок лохматого спасателя. Он мчался на помощь, подобно тому, как он когда-то спасал своего любимого хозяина, но, к сожалению, сильно поранился об острый стальной штырь. Мухтар выжил, только шрамы на его теле напоминали о том ужасном дне.
Люди всем сердцем любили его и даже считали, что памятник следует установить псу еще при жизни. Мухтар был своего рода "Крымским Хатико" – верным и преданным. В полдень 16 августа произошло грустное событие: знаменитый пес ушел из жизни.
Местные власти приняли решение установить памятник на набережной города, чтобы увековечить память о верном четвероногом друге.

BERNAMA: The International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS) Malaysia aims to explore collaboration opportunities with institutions in #Russia and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (#OIC) countries during its attendance at the XV International Economic Forum Russia – Islamic World: #KazanForum 2024.
IAIS chairman Prof Dr Maszlee Malik, expressed his mission to promote cultural diplomacy with Russia and other participating countries during his inaugural participation at the Kazan Forum.
“There are a lot of things we can explore through the platform of cultural diplomacy. IAIS is working closely with the Embassy of Russia in Kuala Lumpur to promote cultural ties.
“Among the sectors that can be explored through cultural diplomacy include education, literature, halal tourism, people-to-people relations, community relations, the Muslim ummah bonding and exchange of students. There are a lot of things that all the countries can learn from each other,” he told Bernama when met at his office recently.
Bernama earlier reported that representatives and experts from more than 80 countries have confirmed their participation in the XV International Economic Forum Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2024 from May 14 to 19 in Russia.
According to KazanForum 2024 secretariat among the OIC member countries that will be represented in the forum include the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Malaysia, Turkiye, and Iran.
KazanForum this year will include the International Property Market, Halal Expo, discussion on medical tourism and media content development.
President Vladimir Putin, in a message published on the Kremlin website on Friday, emphasised Russia’s enduring commitment to its traditionally friendly relations with Muslim countries.
“I believe that the work of the Forum will be meaningful and constructive as always and will be held in a spirit of openness and trust. It will serve to further promote the friendship and creative partnership between our countries and peoples,” he said.
According to Putin, Russia highly appreciates the desire to pursue an independent foreign policy and increase their role in international affairs.
Together, we stand for the formation of a democratic multipolar world order, based on the rule of law and principles of justice, free from any form of dictatorship and discrimination.
