🇷🇺🇮🇷🇸🇾🇹🇷 On June 20, the quadrilateral consultations were held in Astana at the level of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Russia, Iran, Syria and Türkiye with the participation of Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov, Senior Assistant to Foreign Minister in Special Political Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali-Asghar Khaji, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Ayman Susan, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye Burak Akçapar.
The Parties thanked the Kazakhstan authorities for their hospitality.
In accordance with the agreements reached at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the four countries in Moscow on 10 May, the participants began discussing the elements of the Road Map for the restoration of Syrian-Turkish inter-state relations in coordination with the work being carried out by the Ministries of Defense and special services.
