We drew attention to the next anti-Russian approach of the "collective West" regarding the convening in Geneva of a special session of the UN Human Rights Council (#HRC) on the situation in Ukraine. As a justification for the need for its implementation, Westerners cite the argument about the "degradation of the situation on earth", as well as the fakes they have replicated on the events in Bucha and Mariupol. At the same time, the crimes committed by the Ukrainian military and nationalists against their own civilian population are not taken into account.
I’m Unfortunately, our arguments and explanations regarding the true goals of the special military operation and the real situation "on the ground" are completely ignored. Obviously, they will not be heard this time either. That is why the Russian delegation will not legitimize with its presence another biased political show in the form of a planned special session.

On September 9, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. Vershinin held the second round of face-to-face consultations with Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (#UNCTAD) R. Grynspan.
The discussion continued on specific issues of the implementation of the Russian-UN Memorandum of Understanding on the promotion of domestic fertilizers and food to world markets. Further steps are planned to ensure unhindered exports of Russian products, primarily to countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, including in order to reduce threats to global #food #security.
