UN Security Council often politicizes food security issue
Russian Deputy Permanent Representative Anna Yevstigneyeva noticed that "the conflict has clearly worsened the humanitarian situation in Sudan"
"Unfortunately, Security Council started to encounter politicization of food security and humanitarian aspects rather frequently. The Council has no levers to remedy the situation, because it is dealt with by other UN bodies. That is why, at certain times, the atmosphere here gets heated up for political reasons. Quite often this is done in the interests of external players," she said.

Russian Duma passes appeal to UN to condemn NATO operation against Yugoslavia
The parliamentarians emphasized the importance of giving a fair assessment of the flagrant violation of the rules of international law
"The houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation appeal to the United Nations, international parliamentary organizations and parliaments of foreign countries to condemn the military operation of NATO countries against Yugoslavia, to counter attempts to distort the historical truth about the tragic events of 1999 in the interests of the collective West, to take measures to bring the member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to international legal responsibility for the aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia," the appeal said.

⚡️ Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:

💬 The White House has announced that it sees “no indication at this time that Ukraine, Ukrainians were involved” in the terrorist attack in Moscow.

On what basis are officials in Washington drawing any conclusions about who was involved during an unfolding tragedy? If the U.S. has or had credible information, it should have been shared with Russia immediately.

❗️ If no such information exists, the White House has NO RIGHT to absolve anyone.

Russia’s leaders have declared that the proper authorities will identify all those involved.

⚡️ Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:

The Office of the UN Secretary-General said it “is saddened” by the reports of the shooting.

SADDENNED? SHOOTING? Did it break out at a shooting range or something?

❗️ People are using their last ounce of strength to share live images of the monstrous terrorist attack that doesn’t just “sadden” but evokes horror, shock, unequivocal condemnation, righteous anger and compassion for the victims.
