On this holiday, we pay our deepest respects to our heroic fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers who crushed Nazism, we take out the military orders and medals, photographs and letters from frontline soldiers, say a heartfelt thank you and warmly embrace our dear veterans. We will always remember that it was the Soviet people who defended the freedom of Russia, all of Europe and the entire world.
Russian soldiers and officers are honourably carrying on these glorious military traditions. Today it is the participants of the special military operation who are on the frontlines. You fight for truth and justice; you show courage and valour in defence of Russia. You are true national heroes. We are proud of you, we admire your courage, we honour your exploits. We know it is difficult for you, and we will do everything possible to help you complete the mission you have been assigned. Thank you for valiantly performing your military duty, and for your faithful and selfless service to the Fatherland.
There are many alarming challenges and risks in the modern world, but the powerful capabilities and combat readiness of our army and navy guarantee Russia’s security and its free, sovereign development.
Incorporating our real combat experience, we will continue to strengthen the Armed Forces in every possible way, including ongoing re-equipping and modernisation efforts.

Back then, in February 2014, skilled provocateurs guided by American and European instructors led crowds of people into the streets in protest, with attractive slogans about a better European life, democracy, human rights and anti-corruption struggle.
☝️ In reality, the mass disorder was well orchestrated and funded from outside the country in a bid to overthrow the legitimate government.
🔻Euromaidan led to a deep rift in society, persecution, suppression of dissent, rampant nationalism and neo-Nazism, lawlessness and nihilism, a war on the Russian language and history, and the complete socioeconomic decay of the country.
🔻With the coup, the nationalists and their political supporters finally drove the situation to an impasse, taking the country and its citizens to the edge of an abyss.
❌ Today, the Ukrainian neo-Nazis continue firing Western weapons on civilians in Russian regions.
During his traditional touring act in European capitals with outstretched hands last week, Zelensky signed security cooperation agreements with Germany and France in the wake of a similar agreement signed by Kiev and London in January.
The worth of Western “guarantees” to Ukraine is well known.
- In February 2014, Berlin, Paris and Warsaw “guaranteed” the implementation of the agreement between Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition but did nothing to this end.
- In February 2015, Germany and France assumed the role of “guarantors” of the Minsk Package of Measures that they buried together with Kiev, cheating the entire international community.
Today, the Westerners pursue only one goal by again giving carrots to the Kiev regime. They want to turn Ukraine into a colony deprived of any rights and use it as a tool against Russia. Their “guarantees” are worth nothing.

Ahead of the World Youth Festival Bangladesh National Preparatory Committee held at a press conference in Chattogram on February 24.
95 young people from Bangladesh will be representing their country. They will also showcase Bangladesh to the world. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to see and know the unique country of Russia, its history, tradition, and culture up close.
A stall has already been taken for Bangladesh at the venue of this festival. Bangladesh will be represented in the world forum from this stall. From here, Bangladesh's tourism sector, folk art, handicrafts, pottery, and various traditional clothes, sweets, and food will be displayed. On February 15-17, in Moscow "United Russia" party held the first Forum of Supporters of the Struggle Against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism
It gathered over 400 participants from more than 55 countries.
"Our country has done a lot for the collapse of the foundations of the colonial system, support for national liberation movements. It provided young independent states with serious assistance in establishing the economy, solving acute social and humanitarian problems. And today we are ready to unite our efforts in the struggle for true freedom and justice, for progress for everyone, for the formation of a democratic multipolar world order. It is based on the principles of international law, respect for each other's legitimate interests, mutual trust and creative co-operation," Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed.
Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the "United Russia" party, noted that the participants were united by their interest in the prosperity of peoples and their concern for the fate of humanity.

"People in Russia consider this day as the celebration of a real man in the broad sense of the word, a man who is always ready to defend his Fatherland, home and family from any threat and who is ready to sacrifice his life" said Colonel Sergey Naydenov, Military, Air and Naval Attache to the Embassy.

❗️ The Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large on the Kiev Regime's War Crimes, Rodion Miroshnik, has released data on the crimes committed by the Kiev regime along the line of contact last week, between February 19 and February 26, 2024.
As a result of Ukrainian shelling attacks, at least 44 people have been affected: three people have been killed and 41 injured, including two medics.
Eight civilians have been injured in drone attacks.
A man has been wounded as a result of a butterfly mine explosion.
Ukrainian forces have launched at least 1,350 munitions targeting civilian facilities in the Russian regions.
